Sitting on the couch scrolling through social media a sudden smile sprung across your face as you heard the apartment door creek open and a familiar and pleasant earth smell filled your nostrils. You raised yourself up off the couch and made your way down the small hallway to finally reach the doorway to see you're boyfriend of a year and a half stripping himself of his light brown coat and hanging it on the worn out coat rack. "We really need a new coat rack" you half way joked and he let out a small chuckle as he made his way towards you and kissed your forehead "I'll see what the stores have on my way home from work tomorrow." You wrapped your hands around his waist and he rested his chin on your head and just for a moment there was comfortable silence "I'm gonna go change " he broke the silence and pressed one last warm kiss to your temple and you let go of his waist and followed him to the shared bedroom of the rather small apartment. "How was your day" you asked as you both reached the bedroom, he had already been changing out of his work clothes and so now he was just in boxers and was in the process of finding a T- shirt and pair of sweat pants. "It was ok but tiring that's why I like coming home to you everything's just so simple" he spoke as he finally found a pair of black sweat pants and a T-shirt that seemed to be a 80s rock tee. You were already changed into underwear and a plain purple short sleeved T-shirt so you climbed into bed and lifted the plain white blanket up and pulled it over your tired frame. You heard the air condition beep and felt the cool air on the back of your head and felt Hawks climb into bed wrap his hands around you and you turned around to face the brown haired man. "Hey there love" you whispered as you ran one hand through his hair then proceeded to move both hands down to his pants strings and tangled both strings through one another. "Hey there baby" he spoke back and wrapped his hands around your back and you buried your face into his toned chest then saw his red wings wrapping around both of you. "Goodnight (Y\N)" he mumbled as you two drifted off to sleep in each others arms.
