I am Y/N Black. My two brothers, Sirius and Regulus, have always been a part of my life, but our mother had a soft spot for Regulus, leaving Sirius and I in the shadows. When I received my acceptance letter to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the Sorting Hat placed me in the House of the Brave, Gryffindor, which I hold dear to my heart. My mother, on the other hand, had hoped for me to follow in Regulus' footsteps and be sorted into Slytherin.

But my love for Gryffindor only grew stronger when I was given the chance to play as their Seeker on the Quidditch team, taking James' place. My friends, Lily, Cassie, Mary, Dorcas, and Marlene, were so proud of me, but they missed spending time with me since I was always busy with my Quidditch practices.

Now in my fifth year and as I approach my 17th birthday, I find myself surrounded by the love and support of my friends, especially Lily, Marlene, and my brother Sirius, who has his own group of friends, the Marauders. I have grown close to each of them, but there is one Marauder who has captured my heart, Remus. Little does he know, I have developed a crush on him.

The next day, everything changed.

I woke up in the hospital wing, my head pounding with pain, unable to open my eyes. I could hear James and Cassie trying to wake me up, with Cassie's voice filled with worry and James being more forceful. Despite their efforts, I couldn't open my eyes, and everything around me started to fade into darkness.

When I finally came to, my brother Sirius was by my side, looking worried. "Hello, Y/N, how are you feeling?" he asked, and I was confused, not remembering how I ended up in the hospital wing. Sirius hesitated before explaining that I had fallen from my broomstick during a Quidditch match and hit my head hard. The memories of the match started to come back to me.

(Flashback to the Quidditch match)

Remus was shouting at me, "Hey Y/N, I was wondering... would you like to go to Hogsmeade with me?" The announcement of the match interrupted our conversation, "GRYFFINDOR VERSUS SLYTHERIN! THE BIGGEST MATCH YET! THE COUNTDOWN BEGINS... 10... 9... 8... 7... 6... 5... 4... 3... 2... 1... LET THE BEST TEAM WIN!" I was torn between wanting to go with Remus and playing in the match. I chose the latter, "I would love to, Moony, but I have to play now."

Sirius was getting excited, "Oh my gosh, guys! I think Y/N saw the Golden Snitch! This means James is going to win!" Remus playfully teased Sirius, "She looks pretty cute, doesn't she?" Sirius jokingly threatened Remus, "Don't you dare hit on my little sister! Jokes on you, I already asked her out and she said yes. Suck it up, loser." Remus was unfazed, "Oh come on, Sirius. I was just joking."

The announcement echoed through the stadium, "Y/N FOLLOWS THE GOLDEN SNITCH LIKE HER LIFE IS DEPENDING ON IT. THE GRYFFINDOR SEEKER DIVES TO THE GROUND
