I woke up laying in the middle of a field without my memories. Things were hazy and unclear. I remember a guy flashing a light in my face before going unconscious again.

Beep. Beep. Beep.

I opened my eyes and quickly sat up. I was hooked up to machines and sitting in a strange bed type thing.

There were lots of people sitting at desks and some going in and out of rooms. I was about lay back down when a lady walked in smiling.

"Good it looks like your awake." I nodded slowly. "Can you tell me your name?" I thought for a moment before shaking my head.

She handed me this card like thing that had my picture and a name. "Calina?" She nodded.

"Yup. That's a highschool ID card. And that's your name." I frowned.

"Its a girls name." The lady stared at me for a minute before smiling.

"How about Cali? It doesn't sound too feminine." Cali? I nodded in approval and smiled. Cali, I like that.

I looked out the window before looking back at the lady. "Where am I exactly?" All she did was stared at me.

"In a hospital. Have you never been to one before?"

"I don't know. I can't remember. Everything is hazy."

"I see." We kept up a small conversation before she had to leave. As I sat in the hospital bed the only thing I wondered was, who was my family?

I wanted to know who my family is. Even though it might hurt even worse to know. I looked around and frowned.

Nothing looked familiar to me. As the nurse walked in I immediately asked her if she could see if I had a family.

She agreed and left again. "Why can't I remember?" I sighed in frustration. The more I tried to remember the more hazy things got.

A few hours later the nurse came back in with a frown. "I wasn't able to find anything on your parents or where you were born."

I frowned. "Does that mean I'm all alone now?"

"Your not alone." The nurse smiled. "No ones ever completely alone in their life."

"Oh and they said today you would be discharged so you can get changed." I nodded as she left again.

I changed my clothes and walked to the front desk. I filled out the paperwork before giving a small nod and leaving.

The wind blew in my face as I stepped outside. The sun was shining brightly and hurt to look.

Everything was bright and apparently sparkling. I was walking alone without even caring where I was going to stay.

I walked slow and kept my eyes on the ground. I continued walking until I felt a light tap on my shoulder.

I turned around and stared at the guy. "I'm sorry to bother you but have you seen a small girl, blonde hair, green eyes?"

I shook my head and he looked down. "Kyle, have you found her yet?" Five more people came over as the guy shook his head.

"We'll be in trouble if we don't find her." Another guy spoke up. The one who was talking to me before, looked at me.

"I know this is too much to ask someone I just met but could you help us?" I blinked a couple of time before looking at the other five then back at him.
