𝟬𝟬𝟯. 𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝘂𝗽 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻

How did demon slayers even know about the village? Why were they here? Questions swarmed his head as he sprinted towards the screaming of demons.

Many of them ran to their homes to shelter, children who were joyfully playing now clinging to their guardians with fear written on their faces. Some tried to stop him from progressing any further, scared for his sake. Demon slayers were cruel and bitter creatures. "Master!" They all called, wanting him to turn around. [Name] continued to power forward, he wasn't going to let these demon slayers ruin his people's peace. [Name]'s right-hand man, Akio stepped up and walked forward by his side. They were going to defend and protect him even through his obvious trembling.

Catching the sight of two males, he picked up the pace. "Excuse me, gentlemen?" The two turned to him and their expressions hardened. "Are you the leader of this village?" [Name] nodded, his stern expression never faltering. "Is there something you needed, sirs?" Rengoku smiled though a bit strained "You must come with us, Master's orders!"

Demons watching gasped, what did the demon slayers leader want with their master. "Master, don't go!" "We need you!" "It's a trap!" "They'll slaughter us all!"

[Name] clenched his fist, he couldn't risk his people getting harmed because of him. "Akio," The said child perked up, their posture straightening "Yes sir." Akio was ready to follow any and every order his master/mentor had given him. "Look over the village for me." "But sir-" The [h/c] demon placed his hands on the younger demon's shoulders "You are the only one who can take care of them while I'm gone." [Name] turned his head towards the two demon slayers wh held their hands on their sword hilt. "I don't know what they're going to do to me," Akio blinked as [Name] pulled him into a tight hug "If something does happen to me, you're in charge." Tears pricked Akio's eyes as hugged the older demon back. [Name] pulled back "I will go with the demon slayers!"

Many demons disagreed with his statement. He can't leave them! What if he's murdered! What then? He's their only hope of becoming human once again.

"I can't risk them hurting you, if they did.." [Name] shook his head "I wouldn't be able to live with myself." Mari let her tears soak into her mother's kimono "Master.."

"Akio shall be in charge until I return." [Name] gave his last goodbyes, his villagers did the same—albeit in tears. "Take me to your master." Giyuu nodded and the three men slowly disappeared from the villager's line of sight. The village was quiet and gloomy that night.

"Is there something specific your master wants with me?" [Name] asked with a raised eyebrow. What would a human want to do with him? "You're a demon who can freely walk under the sun without disintegrating." [Name] hummed "Is that all?" Giyuu turned and met the demon's cold stare "Because if so, That is a dumb reasoning." He stated staring ahead him, Rengoku felt an irk mark appear and steam escape his ears. How dare this lowly demon insult their master?

"Does your master's name happen to be Ubuyashiki Kagaya?" Giyuu and Rengoku both stiffened "Ah, so it is." [Name] continued to walk forward stopping when a sword came close to his neck "How did you obtain that information?" Giyuu questioned, the demon only pushed his sword away "You should ask your beloved Master.." The three men began to walk to the slayer corps once again.
