"HHEEEHHHH??!!"
"Now?!" Kagami blurted out.
"Not now, tomorrow. Of course now!" Riko snapped.
Freshmen and their guts.
"First-Years wear the yellow jerseys! Second-Years wear the blue jerseys!" Riko barked. The students scrambled like ants to put on their jerseys and assembled in record time.
"We're just doing a quarter game!" Riko looked at her team. She tossed the ball in her hand high.
"Jump ball!"
"HYAA!" Kagami yelled as he leaped into the sky and smacked the ball. It flew over Mitobe's outstretched arms and flew across the court. Kagami sprinted forward. Grabbing the ball with his right hand, he took a flying leap and smashed the ball into the hoop.
"0-2! Freshmen in the lead!" Riko yelled as the score board changed from a '0' to a '2'.
She smirked at herself as she scribbled her notes into a clipboard which had a stack of writing paper. "Kagami-kun..." She mused as the said boy made another dunk. She stared dreamily at the red-head, thirstily slurping in the amazing sight as Kagami's muscles flexed each time he took a flying jump. This boy was amazing, but...
"11-8." Riko muttered as she eyed the practice match. Although the freshmen were still in the lead, it was Kagami who was doing all the shooting and stealing.
"All right boys!" Hyūga shouted to his team. "Let's do it!"
The Second-Years cheered as they split up into formation.
"Do you really think this will help you?!" Kagami smirked as he caught the ball. Kagami immediately gasped as he was surrounded by his seniors.
"Triple-team!" Kawahara shouted.
Kagami grunted as he unwillingly threw the ball away from him.
Kawahara caught it, barely.
As the ball flew towards Kawahara, Koganei rushed towards the First-Year, leaving Hyūga and Izuki to guard Kagami from moving.
The First-Years were horrified as the Second-Years quickly overpowered them immediately right after shutting Kagami down.
Three minutes left in the game and the score was 15-31, in favor of the Second-Years.
Furihata bit his lip as he stared at the score board.
"This is useless!" Fukuda complained as he came to a stop beside Furihata.
"Same," Kawahara stopped too, wiping the small drops of perspiration off his forehead.
"What the hell are you idiots talking about! HUH?!" Kagami yelled furiously, grabbing Furihata by his yellow jersey.
The game paused as Kagami angrily shook the living daylights out of Furihata. The Second-Years looked at them, sighing.
"Stop it will you?" A voice came behind Kagami. Before he could react, Kagami was treated to a nudge to his knees. The red-head fell onto the floor in an unsightly manner.
"Kuroko!!" He growled, trying to punch the boy in his head to no avail.
Kuroko just dodged the angry boy from his wheelchair before jabbing a finger into Kagami's sides.
"Kuroko, come back here!" Riko yelled as the boy wheeled his way to the sidelines. His small notebook and pen rested on his lap.
Riko blew on her whistle, resuming the game. "Kuroko, do you have anything yet?"
