Sanji wanted to apologize to Zoro but the marimo made it clear he didn't want to be anywhere near the blonde. Sanji understood that but he wanted to apologize to Zoro.

He couldn't imagine what Zoro went through. Having no clue what was going on and having no one to explain it to him. Then to learn that he's connected with the blonde who left the crew, then to be shouted at, told mean things. To be told that no one would love him. But that was proven wrong, someone does love him and Zoro had to part with him.

Of course Sanji couldn't apologize not with Zoro ignoring him but it didn't help that they ended in a thunderstorm. The rain coming down hard and the waves make it almost impossible to stay on their feet. It is hard to not bump into each other, and they don't have time to stop and tell each other sorry.

"BRACE YOURSELVES!" Sanji shouts at the top of his lungs so he can be heard over the sound of the downpour. Which everyone did. They turn to see what Sanji sees, a huge wave coming at them. Everyone runs to grab hold of the Sunny so they won't get washed overboard.

Sanji run to hold onto the railing only to lose his footing and slide on the wet grass towards Zoro who looked at him too late to move out the way. Sanji ramming into Zoro's body hard enough for them both to lose their breath. Both getting knocked off. Sanji held onto Zoro so they wouldn't get separated under the current of the harsh waves.

One moment all he could hear is someone shouting both their names over the sound of the rain, the next they are both in cold water, but they couldn't tell because they have been soaked in rain for a while now, and it is rather silent, a large contrast to the noise of a downpour. When their minds clear and catch up to the situation they look around to see where they are. Once they get an idea both  move to swim to the surface but the rough current push them down and away from the Sunny that they were now under. The Sunny moving over them.

They are knocked against some debris, harder and harder the more they are pushed. Both sure at this point they have inhaled enough salt water to kill them but they won't let water defeat them.

Don't know how but they both end up passing out, loosing their fight against the ocean but Sanji kept his hold on Zoro.

Zoro is the first to wake up, squinting first at the cloudy sky, it was brighter than when he was in the storm. Zoro move to his side coughing up the water he accidently inhaled, he felt his muscles contract and it tried to force all the water out of his lungs. Zoro fist the powder snow as his body try to push all the water out of his lungs. He started heaving when there was nothing else to expel. Zoro wipes the corners of his mouth with the back of his hand, his breathing shallow, he looks to behind him when he hears someone else coughing. He looks to see the blonde coughing too. But unlike him he falls back to sleep when he's done. Zoro sits up to see they are on a winter island, near the shore. Behind them is a winter forest. Zoro shivers, sneezing when the cold finally gets to him.

He needs to get to a warm place, not only are they on a winter island but they are wet. They will freeze if they don't get warm and into new clothes. Zoro gets up, looking down quickly to see his swords still on his hip. He sighs happily that they didn't get washed away from him. Zoro looks at the forest. Looks like that's their only option. There doesn't seem to be mountains, but there should be a place to rest and get warm. At least there's enough trees to use for fire.

Zoro closes his soaked jacket that he wore. They were heading to a summer island so the weather had gotten warm before the thunderstorm hit them. So he wore his pants like always, with his boots, haramaki and his red sash to keep his swords in place, along with an open long sleeve black jacket. It didn't do much to get him warm but it was better than nothing. Zoro looks at Sanji, turning him to lay on his back. He seem okay but what does he know? He drags Sanji to the edge of the tree line. He lays Sanji down carefully before standing back up, he takes his red sash off. He ties it on the tree then slips his swords back on his haramaki then picks up Sanji. Giving the man a piggyback ride.

He doesn't hate Sanji, he's just mad at him. Why is he so mad that he respected his wishes? And why does he think he's the only one mad about that stupid flower? He's not. He thought they were finally getting along, specially after they woke up together in the blondes family's castle, they actually had a normal conversation without fighting about something so stupid so he thought things have changed. He was even willing to compliment Sanji on his food, but backed out last minute, to embarrassed and figured they weren't there yet.

Sanji seemed very happy to be back with them, which shocked Zoro. Sanji left them, he thought the blonde wanted to get married, wanted a wife. He expected the blonde to be happy, instead when he woke up Sanji was there with him almost the whole time. He did learn a little about the Vinsmokes from Robin and Usopp. The blonde being happy to be back started to make sense. Zoro thought maybe he'd make sure to accept all of the blondes sides, be better than that shitty family. It's hard though when their relationship isn't normal are clear anymore.

Sanji opens his eyes, his eyes not focusing, but he can see blurs of white and brown. His eyes start to focus more, now he can tell he's on someones back and they are moving. His eyes open wider to see they are on a winter island but it doesn't seem to have people on it. The person giving him a piggyback ride stops to let out a loud sneeze. Sanji turns his head to green hair. Zoro is carrying him. Then he remembers what happened, the storm and them both being knocked off the Sunny. Zoro stops again to let out a sneeze. Sanji felt his body shiver. It is cold.

"Where-?" Sanji asks sitting up, looking around to see they are deep in the forest, snow covered the land and trees.

"You're up." Zoro says letting go of Sanji who stood on his feet. Sanji fixes his suit as Zoro continues, "I don't know where we are, I woke and we were here." Zoro answers, turning to continue to walk forward. They either find a place to rest or the end up on the other side of the island. Sanji nods, joining Zoro in his walking.

"Where are the others?" Sanji asks. Zoro just shrugs.

"It was just us when I woke up." Zoro answers. Nothing else needs to be said. They got washed away into the sea together and Zoro woke up with just them two, it's obvious they are alone on this winter island.
