A few days after the whole 'Time Travel' incident, Tony had finally worked out the kinks of the whole process and was ready to start testing it. Tony entered the dining room, finding everyone sat at the table enjoying lunch.

"Okay, guys. I've finally worked out all of the kinks and am ready to test it. So, who wants to have first crack?" Tony asked as he sat at the table and looked around at everyone.
Immediately, Clint and Riley got to their feet, prepared to do anything to get back the people they love. Clint looked to Riley and shook his head. Natasha sighed as she saw the two most important people in her life stand up before her.

"No, kid. Sit down, I'm doing this. I've lost too much not to try." Clint insisted.
"Clint, with all due respect, the fuck you are. You are fighting for a family, if you don't come back from this, then your family comes back to grief and despair, instead of the love they would receive from their husband and father. Clint, you've got too much at stake and I would never forgive myself if we lost you." Riley informed.

Clint nodded and slowly returned to his seat. Natasha quickly stood to her feet and grabbed Riley's hand, pulling her to one side to talk.
"So, you're going to put yourself at risk again?" Natasha asked.
"Nat, someone needs to do this and I'm not about to send one of those guys out to do this. It needs to be me and you know it has to be me." Riley replied as she went to take Natasha's hand.
