„God, Harry. What the fuck do you want from me?! I've been helping you all this time to solve this case. I mean, do you think I want to be sucked into this mess?! My life was perfectly normal before I met you. Now, I wake up with this pit in my stomach, dreading that something will happen to me or someone I love. Every goddamn noise I hear at night makes me jump, and worry that someone is watching me, or trying to kill me. Why the FUCK can't you just be a little more understanding?"

I shove him hard in the chest, absolutely seething and watch as he stumbles backwards slightly from the force.

„UNDERSTANDING?!" He roared. „You don't think I understand the shit you're going through?! I've been dealing with this shit my whole entire life, Soph. So don't fucking tell me I don't understand."

He stalks closer and closer to me menacingly, his eyes full of fury.

„It's YOU who doesn't understand. You're so naïve, it drives me crazy. You think everyone in the world has some good in them, don't you? Well I hate to break it to you, sweetheart. There are bad people in this world. Really bad people. So if you think I'm bad..."

He laughed humourlessly without finishing his sentence as he slowly closes the distance between us, his arms on either side of my head, caging me in.

I look at his eyes and then down to his lips, swallowing hard. His angry eyes flick down to my mouth so quickly, I almost miss it. He licks his bottom lip and bites it hard, lifting his eyes slowly back to mine.

My heartbeat pounds in my ears as he breathes hard and stares with furrowed brows. He leans in even closer so our foreheads almost touch.

"God, you drive me fucking crazy, Soph." He whispers harshly, his jaw clenched and his eyes now black. "So....fucking....crazy."
