Moondrop powered on, he rubbed his eyes and yawned. He saw Sunrise sleeping soundly next to him, he had his arms wrapped around Moondrop holding him close. He smiled softly, the lights must have still been being repaired because their were no children that morning. Of course Moon wasn't complaining but he knew Sunrise wouldn't be too happy that the kids weren't there. He yawned, he still felt a bit sleepy. His body was slightly sore. Remembering why he turned a bit red. He remembered Sunrises glowing pretty eyes. He smiled softly, closing his eyes he dozed off happily.
He woke up to no arms around him. He looked around to see Sunrise fondling with arts and crafts supplies. Moondrop got up wondering what he was doing, he tried looking over his shoulder. "Ah ah ah sleepy head! It's a surprise!" He said rubbing his head on Moondrop's chin so it would point up and he wouldn't be able to see. He smiled, "okay okay I'll wait!" He said giggling. Sunrise smiled, "last touches... Annnnndddd... Done!" He declared. Moondrop perked up, "close your eyes!" Demanded Sunrise. Moondrop did so smiling happily. "Okay open!" He said.
Moondrop opened his eyes and saw Sunrise holding a cutely made drawing of him with Sunrise. It was covered in pretty glitter and small colorful googly eyes. "I know it's not my best work, but I tried hard!" He said shyly. Moondrop smiles "not your best huh? Well I think it look very good, I love it thank you Sunrise!" He thanked happily. Sunrise blushed, "th-thank you", he said shyly. Sunrise felt proud of himself as he watched Moondrop leave to put up the drawing in his room.
Sunrise smiled... Until. Darkness, the lights in the daycare went out and there was nothing but darkness. Looking around in fear Sunrise could feel the walls close in on him, voices in his head grew loud as the walls grew eyes. He panicked "M-Moondrop... Wh-where are you?" He called out. He bumped into something causing him to fall over. The walls swallowed him whole "NOOOOO! HELP ME HELP ME!" he cried. He felt cold, eyes opening and shining so bright it was almost blinding. He clawed at his face "GET AWAY FROM ME", he growled in fear. He was on the ground ripping at his eye sockets in fear. "SUNRISE WHERE ARE YOU I CAN'T SEE ANYTHING?" Moondrop called out panicking as he heard Sunrises screams ring through the daycare
The lights flicked on, Moondrop saw Sunrise on the ground hugging himself petrified. Paralyzed with fear Sunrise stammered "h-help me.." he repeated. Moondrop ran over to him "i-its okay shhh shhh. I'm here now it'll be okay!" He said trying to calm Sunrise down. Sunrise whimpered in fear "i-is it gone?" He questioned. Moondrop nodded "it's gone, it's just me and you now! Their probably installing new lights right now, soon you'll get to get the kids and you'll feel much better" Moondrop said trying to comfort him. Sunrise made a wiggly frown and hugged Moondrop tight.
Gregory ran into the daycare with a huff in his breath "A-are you two okay!? Freddy told me to come help because the lights were off. Seems their on now, appearently the wires were tampered with last night and there's been serveral random power outages all across the mall!" He managed to gush. Moondrop frowned "the wires were messed with... But who would do that and why?" He thought aloud. Then it hit him, could this possibly be Chica. She did after all say they were gonna pay for their wrong doing. Is this her way of torturing Sunrise, by using his biggest fear against him. Therefore, Chica must be planning something against Moondrop. Moondrop frowned worried, "I believe I might know whose doing this, but I don't have enough evidence to take action yet. Just please try to get the wires fixed. I don't know if Sunrise can take another random outage." He said worried. Gregory nodded, "I'm sure their on it right as we speak. For now keep this, it'll come in handy just in case another power outage happens" he said revealing a flashlight from his pocket.
Gregory had shown Moondrop how to use the flashlight and then left them to be and check on the progress of the lights. Moondrop felt paranoid, he was sure what might happen to him, whatever it is there's no way it's gonna be good. Worried he watched as Sunrise made comfort doodles trying to shake of the jumpy feeling. Moondrop smiled softly. He was relieved that things were better. But there was much more he had to worry about then lights. After all the power station was in the controls room, the control room had the remote to the security bots in it. Moondrop and Sunrise could be ripped to shreds any moment now. There was no telling what Chica had up her sleeve. After all for the kind of person she is she's squire smart.
And knowledge is something to fear. Especially knowledge of Moondrop.
