Oikawa POV
Mattsun and I leave the police station going back to my home where my parents come running out to greet us hugging us while crying and thanking mattsun.
After I explained everything to my parents and when there crying calmed down we were allowed to retreat to my bedroom.
"Hey mattsun I know this is a lot to ask but can you stay the night I don't feel safe with iwa still out there"
Mattsun hugs me to comfort me
"Wasn't planning on leaving kawa"
We get ready for bed and lie down where I find I can't sleep, the last time I slept here with a friend they ended up dead. I stare at the roof for who knows how long when I hear mattsun speak.
"Oikawa are you asleep"
"No"
"You wanna talk"
"Huff not sure if that will help"
"Why can't you sleep"
"Makki died last time I slept"
"Kawa I promise I'm not going anywhere"
I hear shuffling then mattsun moves onto my bed and grabs my hand.
"I'm sorry"
"What"
"I'm sorry I couldn't help makki"
"Kawa it's not your fault I promise"
"Is it bad I miss my iwa-chan"
"Of course not, he was your best friend"
"But I feel like I shouldn't after everything he did"
"I mean you love iwaizumi as a person you've known him forever before all this but that doesn't mean you approve what he did"
"Thanks mattsun, how are you feeling"
"Honestly I don't think it's truly hit me yet"
I squeeze his hand as a show of support
"I'll be here if you need help"
"Thank you kawa"
