Promise

A Short Story:)

People everywhere,

Cameras flashing,

Flyers flying,

And reporters waiting.

Outside of a conference hall in Manhattan, New York to meet an inspiring 28-year old young writer. Suddenly, a white model S Tesla car pulls over "There he is!" shouted a young woman. Then people turned their gazes on a young, tall, and ravenette man. Reporters started to crowd around him and security guards prevented them from coming closer.

"Mr. Moore, Mr. Moore-"

"Mr. Moore, a word, please!"

"-what can you say about your new book?"

"What was your inspiration in writing the book? Please, Mr. Moore!"

"Back off please, Mr. Moore would answer your questions inside." said the manager.

"Mr. Moore!"

"Mr. Moore, please answer!"

But the young man only smiled at the reporters and continued walking inside the conference hall. People started gathering around the platform to see and have their questions answered by the young man. This wasn't his first public conference, but this was the most crowded one, yet.

Meet Maximilian Moore III, or as his friends and family call him, Max. A young 28-year old ravenette, tall, blue-eyed man.

"Now that Mr. Moore has sat, he will now begin answering your questions," said the manager.

People started blabbering out their questions. "Mr. Moore, we would like to thank you for giving us a little bit of your time to answer our questions."

"No, the pleasure's all mine, I wouldn't wanna disappoint everyone, right?"

Mr. Moore said. "Mr. Moore, what got you into writing stories or novels?" one of the reporters asks.

"Well, ever since I was young, books interest me, you know? I was really curious how people can create amazing stories using their imaginations. So I decided to try it out and here I am now" Mr. Moore chuckled.

"U-Uh sir,-"

"You don't have to be nervous, I'm sure your question is something." Mr. Moore answered playfully to ease up the reporter's nerves.

"O-oh! Yes sir! So with the ongoing success of your creations, what do you think is the best one you've created so far?"

"Well for me, my books have their own "best" thing in them you know what I mean?" Mr. Moore laughs a little.

"The thing is they're all equal for me, I don't have a favorite but I enjoyed creating tragic-romance stories more so yeah haha."

"All your stories are amazing! Never stop writing!!" one of his fans shouted and made Mr. Moore smile. "Well, I'll try to keep that in mind, alright?" Fans started to scream louder, hearing their favorite writer say something like that made them super happy.

"Sir, if I may ask, what inspired you to create your story "Her."? How did you create such an amazing story that became a worldwide hit? Tell us Mr. Moore!"

That question, Mr. Moore always expects that people would ask him about it. But it threw him off-guard when he heard it. Gathering up his courage, he sat on his chair properly and replied.
