"Sire, I have finished all my chores. Can I help you with anything?" The little creature asked Midoriya who looks content over a cup of tea.
"Er, Yes Gor." He opened the book, which seems to be a registry with dozens of people's names saved on it.
"This customer should have returned the grimoire by now. Go and bring it to me, but of course, if he wishes to extend the time, he must provide something of value."
"And if he refuses, Sire?"
"You haven't eaten human flesh for quite some time eh?" The little creature's lips curled up in a cruel grin, revealing his dirty razor-sharp teeth.
"The last I did was 2 months ago... Sire." Midoriya lifted his gaze from the registry book and level his gaze with the creature, before flashing a cold smile that will chill anyone's blood.
"Start from the leg, that way you can keep him alive for a longer period of time, Gor, and deliver the most excruciating and intense pain." Midoriya waved his hand, the space before the counter let out an eerie howl as the very thread of space and time tore apart just to open up a small portal big enough for the demon to pass through.
"And remember Gor... Do not leave behind any evidence of your presence." Midoriya reminded the little creature.
"Yes, I know because Sire doesn't like to leave loose ends behind which can become evidence, especially a corpse." The demon saluted firmly and jumped into the portal that closed up with a slight twitch of Izuku's finger.
He picked up the cup and twirl the hot tea in it, as he looked at the liquid he hummed softly to himself as the creepy music on the radio played at a low sound.
"Did you hear what I said? With this ring, I do wed a body in my bed... She was cool when I met her but I think I like her better dead~" He sang as he continued to stare at his drink.
In a deep forest filled with hordes of flora & fauna, often gigantic, poisonous — or even more likely, both— a boy who looked to be in his teens was hiding inside a hollowed bark of a tree twice the size of The General Sherman Tree, which is the largest tree on plant tree that stood tall at a 52,508 cubic feet.
The hollowed bark is large enough to be considered a small room, and it seems the teenager is using this place for quite some time as there is some basic handmade furniture carved out of the tree itself present in that small hole.
The boy was irritated and disappointed as he stared at the small pile of scrolls laid before him. The boy did a series of complex hand signs but it seemed he couldn't get the results he want.
"Fuck! What I am doing wrong?" The boy spat as he scratched his head. "Don't tell me after all of that hassle I can't even learn a Jutsu!" The boy clenched his fists, then anger filled his shelf.
"Fuck! What should I do now?" The boy pounded the wooden wall behind him only to feel it shake slightly.
He turned to find out an old door magically appeared, glued to the wall. He was perplexed by this odd event and then he did a double-take, just to affirm that he wasn't dreaming.
Preparing himself mentally the boy decided to venture into whatever mess this door will lead to, but before that the boy gently tap the crystalline yin and yang necklace he wore. It gave a soft glow before the whole piles of scrolls in front of him disappeared without a trace.
"Act normal, Uzumaki Naruto." The teenager slapped his cheeks and reached out to grab the doorknob before he twisted it open revealing a dimly lit book store with a skin-crawling vibe to it.
The interior of the bookstore is very quiet, he could barely see anything but still, those sharp glowing eyes behind the counter is visible to him, and it gave him the creeps.
