A Grinchy Christmas
Oh great! It's Christmas again
Those annoying lights and noisy freaks,
Leaving dirt and filthy stains
Running around with their puffy cheeks
How cute! They're setting up the giant star
And the bakeries are starting to bake
Oh look! That kid has a candy bar
Cue the eye roll, I'm gonna puke
The poor kids are waiting for that pot-bellied Santa and his dorks
Well this Christmas is gonna be happy alright
Just for me! And my Max
Christmas is going to be quiet and not so bright.
Just the way I like it.
For years nobody wanted to call
Christmas became dark and lonely
My heart became two sizes small
Now, I'm paying them back their own penny.
I stole Christmas and their joy
I watched their smiles burn
But I still felt void
Till she held my hand and I felt warm
My heart pounded in it's cage
For the first time in years
She was very much younger in age
But she brought to my crusty eyes, tears
And I felt it
The spirit of Christmas
The sweetness and warmth of the snowy town
I sat and witnessed
The love of Christmas that she has shown
My heart became two sizes bigger
And my eyes twinkled like the stars
My smile became larger
I may get diabetes from all the sweetness I'm spitting
But.. I'm happy I stole Christmas
