Location: Sundrop's Daycare
1st day
"Okay kids! Right now we need to go over some rules!" Sundrop said. "But why Mr. Sun?"a boy asked. "Because many kids have been banned recently for breaking my 1 rule so I'm making more." Sundrop said. "Okay.." the children said. Sundrop looked at you before speaking. You were paying very close attention. (Sundrop cares for the other kids too. Don't worry. 🙂) "Okay ready?" Sundrop said. "Ready!" Everyone said. "Okay number 1. Don't turn off the lights." Sun said. None of the kids said anything. "Okay number 2. No cursing." Still Silence. "Number 3. No bullying. That includes Name calling. Jacob." Sun said. "And number 4 be kind and don't get hurt." "And lastly number 5. Clean up after yourself." Sun said. Any questions? A boy named Oliver raised his hand. "Yes Oliver?" Sun said. "Mr. Sun why can't we turn off the lights?" Oliver asked. "Well. It's for safety reasons I don't want to hurt any of you. Especially the younger kids. For this reason I have childproofed the light switches." Sundrop replied. "Oh okay" Oliver said. "Alright kids go ahead and go play!" Sundrop said getting up. You walked over to a table to go play with blocks. Sun followed. "Hey Sunshine!" Sun said happily. "Hi Sun.. " You said. "Sunshine.. you seem down are you okay?" " Yeah..Daddy has been ignoring me. Did I do something wrong?" You said with tears in your eyes. Sun got up and came over to give you a hug. "I'm sorry Sunshine..You didn't do anything wrong your dad's probably busy with work right now. I love you. Sunshine. Okay?" He said hugging you. "Okay.." you said. "Now how about you go lay down for a little bit okay? I'll stay by your side." "Okay." You said rubbing your eyes. Sun picked you up and took you to the nap time area. "Thanks Sun.." "No problem Sunshine. Sweet dreams." Sundrop said soothing you to sleep. "Sweet dreams.."
