1 - Heartaches

"Ate, you shouldn't be out for too long let alone be tiring yourself."

I've got my sister on the line again, this time he told dad that I was in Japan. Starving and in the streets. Exaggerating the situation made my dad buy her a ticket to Japan and of course the pocket money was no joke.

"When's your flight?"

"You know that it takes time to get a visa, and it's still processing now. My finals will be over next week maybe I'll start packing next week"

"You look stressed is your boyfriend causing you problems again?"

"No, he is not."

"Mhm still mad about you pursuing medicine?"

She rolled her eyes and glared at me

"Ate he just doesn't like hospitals, his brother died there. Specifically died in a hospital in Japan. I don't know how to tell him I'd be spending the holidays there."

"Just don't come here. Once my money is all out I'll come home."

"Yeah and you eat convenient store food, you live in a cheap place. You can last a year there! You don't even have heat tech clothing!"

"I need to go now, rest and don't come here."

"Judging from where you are it's either you're waiting for someone or you like the cold and the scenery is to die for. You're always there whenever I call"

"I'll give you another option, in order to save money I live in the streets that's why I'm here. Bye!"

I ended the call. When is that guy coming here? I need to return this stupid coat! Although it's warm, it's not mine.

"You're still not wearing the right clothes and you're not wearing the coat I gave you."

I turned to see the guy I met yesterday. He had a disapproving face this time.

"I came to return this."

"I don't need it, I'm wearing a new one."

"Can you at least tell me your name? I'll just thank you instead"

"It's Niccolo Kiefer David, but you can call me Ni-ki"

"Okay, can I treat you coffee to show my gratitude?"

He raised his eyebrow.

"Just cut to the chase you want to go on a date with me?"

Ang hangin pero ang gwapo, bumabagay pala yon?

"Just coffee. Maybe you know a good cafe?"

He just walked pass me and gestured to follow him. We stopped at a cafe that has a bookstore, he went in and scanned for books. Sana di ganun kamahal dito.

"Hi! I'll get one iced coffee and one strawberry frappe no caffeine in the frappe please"

The cashier nodded as I handed him my card.

"is it to go? You ordered two beverages, are you waiting for someone?"

"I'll have it to go and I'm with someone."

I looked at ni-ki still scanning books, I'll take a photo and post it. Mababaliw ang kapatid ko nito. Marites pa naman yun.

Cold Evening

"Hi! Here's your order"

Inabot na sakin ang mga inumin, medyo tanga talaga kasi anlamig na frappe pa iinumin ko. I went outside the store to see ni-ki standing outside.

"Let's go? The staff here are weird. They keep looking at me"

"Probably because of your clothes, the weather is cold and you ordered iced coffee and a frappe? Sadista ka masyado"

We started walking thru the streets, I wonder if he lives here? He seems to know so much about this place.

"Do you live here? I mean you seem to know a lot of places here"

"I'm here for travel and somehow I'll be here for a while"

He smiled but my heart was aching so much for some reason. This guy makes my heart ache instead of making it race.

"Don't you have other clothes? You always wear black. Do you like have a grim reaper concept?"

"You should go in, you'll catch a cold. Please wear my coat i have a feeling that you can't handle cold weather very well"

I went inside my apartment and drank my medicine, my heart was aching so much should i call a doctor? No this will go back to normal when i wake up tomorrow.

I'll be finishing/updating this story often since the plot of this story is already planned and I love ni-ki's character here so much.
