"you must be George," Clay says as he enters his office and sees a man sitting in one of the chairs

The sudden voice slightly startled George and broke his trance of staring out the window of the very tall building. He wasn't waiting that long for his new boss, but George can get distracted quite easily.

"Um- Yes! Yes, that's me, sir."

He stands up to great the very tall man in front of him, and he found himself looking into his very green eyes.

Clay on the other hand, was noticing everything about George

He looks a lot like Shawn Mendes for some reason

This all happened within the brief moment of them shaking hands. They both sit down; George in his previous seat and Clay in his office chair behind the desk.

"So, Karl told me a lot of great things about you, I hope that you can live up to them."

"Sir, you can trust that I can."

"Good" Clay says with a pause as he shifts in his chair. "This job isn't hard at all. It mostly consists of you getting coffee, making copies, or personal stuff for me. Umm- is that what you're used to.. in your old jobs?"

"Yes, I used to work in small offices and for business owners and they would have me get coffee, food, dry cleaning, and things like that." George can tell that this man has never had an assistant before. "So really if it's anything you need, I can get it for you." He says in a caring tone.

"Alright, well lets start off with something quite easy, a hot coffee, decaf, with 2 sugars. Did Karl give you the tour, do you know your way around." Clay wished he had worded that differently, but didn't make it clear to George that he had a dirty mind.

George tells him he knows where it is, and heads there. After the older left, Clay couldn't help but sigh and rub his nose temples.

Karl didn't say he was so attractive. This isn't good.

On the other, George was thrilled he didn't have to work for some old lady, or a pervy man because that was what to expect when working in a job like this. He knew that this man was different, not to mention he was a sight for sore eyes.

It didn't take him long to get the coffee, it was pretty easy, but once he got back his boss had another task for him. He was digging in his wallet and pulled out a 20. "Hey, do you think you could go down to the men's suits store down the way and get me a green tie, I forgot to get one before walking out the house."

"Yes no problem, I'll be back soon" he says exiting this office.

He walked out of the building and down the street to a store called Men's Warehouse, he thought the name was kind of butch but he entered anyway. The store smelled of old spice and mid-life crisis, so he decided to quickly pick a tie and get out.

The first green one he saw looked nice enough so he chose that one. It has a plaid pattern and was kind of nice. He paid for it with the 20 that his boss gave him, and they gave him 7 dollars in change. He thought it was ridiculous that a single tie could cost that much but he didn't think much of it, it was the city after all.

When he returned, Clay was coping down a piece of paper onto his computer, he was concentrated so he didn't notice when George walked in. As George walked closer though to his desk, Clay looked up.

"Here is.. you tie." he says handing the bag to his boss.

"thank you, sorry I had to send you into that hell hole."

George chuckled, "nothing I can't handle," he says with a smile.

Clays smiles back and opens the plastic bag, "this one will d-" he pauses and looks up confused.

George is concerned as to why is his boss is looking at him so puzzled. Then, his boss makes a face of realization, "Karl, he-" he pauses, " Karl told me that- that you were color. blind-"

George shuts his eyes slowly, "shoot" he says opening his eyes again. "Is it yellow? I am so sorry, let me return it" he says reaching out for the tie.

"No, no your fine! I like yellow, yellows good." Clay says with a very gentle and warm smile on his face.

He is so cute, thought Clay.

For the rest of the day, George was doing generally easy stuff for his boss. When the end of the day rolled around, George and Clay had become pretty good friends.

Little did they both know, they shared mutual feelings of romance toward one another.

"We should grab a drink sometime." George says as they are walking down the hall on their way to exit the building.

"Yeah that would be great," Clay says giving him a small smile than looking back at the ground. He found himself not wanting to make eye contact with George, because every time he did he would get immensely flustered and turn a bright shade of pink on his face.

Throughout the day, George had definitely noticed that his boss had feelings for him... or he was about 89% sure. He would always blush when he was talking, and that was the first sign. George has had bosses that have had a crush on him before, both men and women. Most of them have made it VERY clear that they are into him, so he has sort of gotten used to it.

Although, with this boss, there is something different: Clay Smith is about the same age as him, they get along very well, Clay doesn't act on his attraction, and he's gorgeous. Like a real-life Ken Doll kinda gorgeous. George has never felt attracted to one of his bosses before. It's the feeling of it; it's so wrong, but It feels so right.

Clay on the contrary, had no clue that the feelings are mutual. It's him living up to the "dumb blond" stereotype. Clay has never felt this way for anyone, well except for Selena Gomez when he was a teenager, but she doesn't count.

"Hey, are you okay sir?" George said, putting a hand on Clay's shoulder once he saw him look at the ground cowardly.

"Oh Uhm- yeah I'm fine- great, just.. long day." Clay finishes with a sigh. "oh, by the way, you don't have to call me sir. I'm not that kinda guy, just call me clay." He says, Finally looking down to meet Georges's brown chocolate eyes.

George smiles softly, "Alright Clay." he says in a sincere and heartfelt tone.

This caused the two to blush as they stared into the eyes of each other, seeing the other for who they truly are, seeing the purity and love in each others soul. The 5 seconds was all they needed, before--

"Maybe we could get those drinks another time, I'm pretty drained!" Clay says in a quick and flustered tone as he breaks the eye contact. The two had gained an inch and a half while gazing in the eyes of each other, so clay took a sub-step back and rubbed his neck.

"Yeah! Yeah! Right, right. That's fine. Another time maybe." George states in the same tone that Clay used a second before, proving he was flustered as well.

"Goodnight Clay." George says, as they leave the buildings and head separate ways for the evening.

"Goodnight George."
