I go into Lonnie's room that same day

"Ho- li- day- for me!" I said in a sing-song tone. "Aw, lucky! But, you do need it. You've been working at the bridge almost half your time, which you shouldn't really be doing." She said.

"Yeah, and the gossip and the rumors, oh!" I exclaimed then fall into Lonnie's bed.

"Didn't thinm this ship was filled with children. I wasn't even 20 when I left and this whole thing literally got transported to another planets ocean and exploded." I said. "And then came back like the blip from Avengers: Endgame."

"Well, I hope you have a nice holiday. Have you told Michael? He should know, and I really think you should talk to him. I mean, you've been together for almost your whole 20s!" She said.

I sighed, "You're right." I got up to leave, "I will tell him right now..."

"After I plan out what I'm gonna do the whole week!" I said.

"No! No, you are going to te him, now! Go! You gotta tell him now! You've got 2 days for planning. 3 including today." She said.

"Alright, fine..." I said then left to look for Michael which, first, I checked his room.

I knock on the door and a voice tells me to enter.

I see Michael on his desk, typing something, I don't know what, I couldn't read it from afar, I didn't have my glasses on.

"Hey Mike." I said then he immediately turned around. "Hey."

"We should talk." I said. "I was gonna say the same thing." He said.

We both sat on his bad, facing each other.

"I'll go." I started. "Let me clear the air, Lucas and I are supposed to be done. He just couldn't move on. And to be honest, I love him, he was one of my closest friends when I was 17 and the closest thing I had to a family since mine hardly acts like it." I said.

"And yes, he kissed me, but I never asked him too but when he did, I guess I just missed it or something. Throughout dating you, I could hardly remember what he even looked like until I see the photograph I have of them on my desk back at home." I said.

He gives me a weak smile, "You really love me." He said. "Well of course I do. I love you more than anything besides myself." I said.

"I love you too. I just got really attached to you and I love you so much I never thought about you 'cheating' on me because I knew you never would. When I heard about it, I did believe it until it was everywhere and I got mad, not at you but mainly at myself but I projected it at you." He said.

"I was mad at myself for not loving enough or doing enough..." He said. "Oh Michael, you will always be enough for me. You're more than enough, you are everything I need and want." I said.

He gave me a little kiss.

"I also came here to tell you that I will be going on a one week holiday cause these rumors are getting out of hand and even captain said I should go get me some fresh air." I said.

"Oh, that's great, you want me to come with you?" He asked. "I'll be fine. I'll have a nice week with Sarah and some of my other girl friends." I said.

"That's good, you deserve it." He said then I noticed the dark under eyes he has.

"I think you deserve some sleep, hon. C'mon, take a rest. You can continue whatever you're doing tomorrow." I said.
