Grace's P.O.V

I get home from school and hope that I'm quiet enough so that my dad doesn't see me. I tip towed to my room trying to avoid the creaky floors. But I hear foot steps "GRACE WHERE ARE YOU!"
crap. "Umm.. I'm going to my room." then I knew he was drunk. "NOOOOOOO I DON'T THINK SO. GET OVER HERE!!!!"
Oh no. I walk down stairs and put my backpack on the floor. and look into my dads eyes. he pushes me up to the wall and I can smell the rum in his breath and cringe at the shell. I stood there with my eyes close waiting for something. Then I feel a fist in my gut. I fall to the ground and start to cry. " stop crying u b****" then he kicks my arm and I feel the hot tears streaming down my face as he walk into the kitchen I quickly grab my backpack and rum to my room. I locked the door cause I have a bathroom connected to my room. my room is blue walls with a small bed. my bed has purple sheets and I have a white dresser. I do t have a lot of things. I walk into my white and blue bathroom an pull off my shirt. I see a blue and purple faded bruse starting to form under my ribs. when I touch it I cringe. I take a shower and get in my pjs. I make sure my door is locked tight once again and pull down my covers to my bed and get in. I know that I have to tell the boys tomorrow maybe they can help. or maybe they will leave me and not be my friends. I still have to tell them.

I slowly wake up and look at my alarm. it says 6:21. I get up and put on a superman shirt and a pair of red shorts with my black vans that I love. I hurry out of my room and and go down stairs and get a yogurt out of the fridge. I walk out of the house and go to wawa where the boys and I meet everyday. I saw Ashton standing next to Luke. waiting for cal mikey and i. Then we see a silver car pull up and in side of it is Mikey and Cal.
"Hey guys!" I said and mike and cal replied, "Hey!" We all went inside and I got an ice tea, ash got water, mike got milk, cal got water, and Hemmo got water. after we all went in ash's car and webber to the mall. at the mall we walked in stores and looked. we went to hot topic. after a while we went to the park and played out he playground like 5 year-olds. then the boys said they were going to take me home and I knew I had to tell them. "Umm first can I tell you guys something?" they all said at the same time "yeah." "Ok... umm... so... umm..." mikey said "Spit it out!" I replied, "Ok umm well I did t want to tell u this cause I was scared that you guys wouldn't want to be friends with me anymore, but..... umm well my mom has been dead for that last 1 1/2 years and my dad drinks a lot. he always get drunk." at this time tears were running down my face. "and my dad umm.. um. he abuses me." at that time I collapse on the ground and all the boys kneel down next to me. "We can't let you live there anymore, you'll live with us." Ash said. " ok but I have to get some stuff from my room and pick me up a 12:00 tonight. try took me home and I ran to my room as fast as I could. I got a big backpack and shoved all of the little bit of clothes Into the bBari hurried down stairs and got some fruit and yogurt. I quickly eat it and got the rest of my stuff. I put my crappy phone int there the charger and my earbuds. I now had and empty closet and dresser I went the under my bed an got the only thing under there, a small small box. I opened it and saw my moms gold chain necklace with a single diamond. I put it back in the box and put the box in my backpack. I hid my pack pack in the conner and then I her my dad call me. "GRACE WHERE ARE YOU!" I replied, "In my room." "WELL GET DOWN HERE HOW!!" I walk down stairs hoping he won't hit me in the stomach. "Yes dad?" As soon as I knew it he punched my cheek and I screamed on pain them he pushed me down to the ground and kicked my shoulder with all his might. I screamed and and cried again and ran to my room, sat in the Conner and waited.

I sat and waited then I remembered that I forgot something, My computer! I went under my bed again and and grabbed a white computer and a charger. I put that in my bag as well.

I looked out my window and I waited for the boys and prayed that I wouldn't get caught.

I heard a car pull up out side accrose the street and I quietly opened my door. I tip towed down stairs and waked out the door. "Hey guys." the boys looked at me and frowned. " my dad." I said they all nodded and ash started his car and drove off.
