Dave
I eyed Christina as she stared at the cake I had the kitchen staff prepare for her birthday.

"Thank You, East"

I was taken aback because she actually hugged me and I hugged her back. She felt right in my arms.

"You can let me go now" she said breaking my thought process.

"Uh, yeah I figured this would be a nice gesture since it is your birthday and all. I'm meeting with your husband later. Hopefully he'll have my money and you can go home."

"Honestly when you let me go I'm not going home."

"Why?"

"I've been here for almost a month now. He hasn't done anything to secure my freedom I'm filing for divorce."

"You don't mean that you're just upset."

"I mean it, truly I'm done. He can die for all I care."

"Don't say that marriages have their issues y'all will get past this."

"You want what he owes you but you don't need it."

"That's right it's the principle like I  told you and your mom. Your husband acts as if he's above paying his debts and to them other niggas he may be but I'm not none of them other niggas."

"Whatever like I said that drug money is more than enough to sustain you."

"For the final time I don't sell drugs anymore. Have I in the past yes but I wouldn't have been able to do it without your husband and your fathers help. Things aren't what they always appear Christina. They shipped it in I sold it. So don't think they're all high and mighty because they ain't no different from me. Happy Birthday."

Christina
I was coming to terms with my life as I know it not being what it appeared. East's words hurt but I wasn't going to let him see that.

I've been plotting my escape since I entered this house and later on this evening I would seize my chance. The night body guard sleeps I'll slip out on him when he dozes off...

A few hours later

Dave
My poker game ended sooner than I thought. As we pulled up my private street I saw Christina running along the side.

"Pull over" I ordered my driver.

When she saw me she ran and almost got away from me but I'm in shape my damn self.

Christina
I fought and fought East with all my strength but it was no fighting him. I gave up after a short struggle and accepted my fate. He carried me to the truck like a rag doll. I got a good few scratches on him but that was about it.

"So we're running now Christina?"

"What you thought I actually enjoyed being kidnapped?!"

"No but that shit you just pulled has earned you a spot next to me until your husband pays up."

"Next to you?"

"Yep you ain't leaving my sight."

Dave
"Get in the bed Christina."

"The only man I'm laying with is my husband."

"If I have to make you get in you ain't gone like it lay your ass down."

She thought about my threat for a moment before plopping down on my California King.

"See there's plenty of room you won't even notice we're in the same bed."

"Suck a dick."

"Watch your mouth."

Christina
I was about to keep going and then I felt East's strong arms pulling me underneath him. His face was mere inches from mine and my breathing hitched.

"I'm not your husband or your weak ass daddy. Respect me. The same way I've respected you since you entered this house."

Before I could get my reply in Sympathy threw her heel hitting East upside the head.

"So now you got the bitch in your bed huh?"

"Chill the fuck out!" he yelled.

"Chill out? You're practically on top of her!"

"It ain't like that" he replied.

I decided to add salt into the wound.

"What you mean it ain't like that! That's not what you were just saying" I smirked.

East turned and looked at me with blank expression. I'm gone give him hell as long as he's holding me hostage. Sympathy ran out of the room in tears and when he followed her I burst into a fit of giggles. This nigga gone give me back I keep it up.
