Vanessa called their friend to come over towards that new cafe that was built, happily sitting in a chair by the window as they waited for her friend to appear. Most of the time, they are usually late, never on time. She did wonder why, it's like not she did anything special---that sounded rude, but it was so vaguely true! Never goes out to parties, is horribly sarcastic, and overall plain. Nothing special about her, but Vanessa adored her fellow partner in crime, even if they were a bit of a fucking loser. And certainly nothing wrong with some bonding time with a friend, or well, she attempted to avoid outings but they wouldn't want to miss out on what Vanessa had to say. Vanessa always had a way to get things, in many different forms.

It was fucking snowing. To think your friend had the best idea to think, oh, let's just have me, walking through the snow it meet her at some rundown cafe full of fucking crack addicts, it's almost amazing by that thought of how much Vanessa blended in with a crowd of crack addicts, she could tell you she didn't do drugs but you surely wouldn't believe her. Tugging your coat closer as if you attempted to choke yourself out with the fur bedding that danced around the hood, getting weird stares from the people that trudge through the snow. Tossing aside glares and annoying remarks but you finally made it to that cafe.

Flicka Cafe!

Welcome, and we hoped you enjoyed your stay.

You could just taste the drug addicts in this cafe, Flicka cafe, isn't that the name of some horse? Pushing aside that thought, you walked in, finding her, grinning, in a seat by the window. How charming, you thought, letting your eyes roll before plopping on the seat in front of her and taking out your laptop. Watching as Vanessa grin, her lips perking up to send you a remark.

"What brings you here?" Is she deadass? Letting your eyes narrow before sighing as your hand pressed against your face, retorting back with your own childish remark. "A continuum amount of bad choices," watching as her smirk flatten, she must know you have all types of remarks, you were a ticking bomb and she knew that letting her grin appear once more as you watched her twirl her hair happily, you almost forgot how girly she actually was. Watched as her brows furrowed as she thought of her next best words as she mentally prepared herself for your next sarcastic remark, now you had sweat drenching your neat as you waited, not so very patient as you waited a lot longer than you needed to but then she spoke.

"You are looking for a job, correct?" She asked, watching as her fingers pressed together, it was a simple thing, something she did when she was nervous but--you stayed silent, giving her a simple nod, waiting for her next response. Lips pressed, you could basically see the veins popping out of her as she thought, was a screw going to fall out of her brain next? Almost choking back a chuckle at that thought, you held your face natural, watching, waiting. Then she spoke, letting that nerve-racking sentence fill your ears....with much disappointment.

"They are looking for someone to watch the daycare at night. Like a security guard?.." She must be taking a fat shit on you if she thinks you'll work in a daycare, full of demon spawns. You would rather drive off a cliff but held your thought back as she began speaking once more, watching the way her body shifted, her eyes narrowing with slight hope...you might as well give it a try, for her. it's the best you could do, at least visit it and see how you like it.

"You could always say no! I'm not forcing you-" You interrupted her.

"I'll see if I like it alright?" Her eyes lit up, she always dreamt of working with a friend. This made her extremely happy as you placed your laptop back in, motioning for her to lead the way.  A car! You didn't need to fight the tortures of walking through this snow, taking a seat in the car as Vanessa got in, you grab your seatbelt and tightened that thing till you felt secure enough.
