Chapter 1 ~ First Day of School (Part 1)

Nick's POV

It was a Monday, yes a Monday. I woke up t0 my alarm playing "What Does The Fox Say," my favorite song. I got ready for the first day of sophomore year. I w0re my favorite green button up, my purple tie, and my brown jeans. I went downstairs to see my mom making breakfast. "Hey mom!" I said lively, "Hello Nick how was your sleep?" She responded. We started to chit chat about the new school year.

I ate my breakfast and said bye to my mom before heading out to school, Zootopia Academy. I ran into my best friend Judy hops on my way there. She mentioned there were gonna be two new faces in out Homeroom class. I was stoked to meet them. "So Nick you excited about the new school year?" Judy said with a smile on her face, "Well," I said scratching the back of my neck. "Sorta, kinda nervous to meet my new teachers." Judy giggled, "You'll be fineee. Your a great student!" She said reassuringly. I smiled, "Thanks, I needed that carrots." She glared at me for the nickname. "Shut up" she said.

Before we knew it we were at the school gate. "Well, cya in Homeroom" Judy said hopping away. I walked into the school and saw the new kids talking to the principal. One of them caught my eye immediately. He had red hair and a smile as bright as the sun. A wave of heat washed over me. I knew then, I was In love.
