Hi sorry for not posting I've been busy with the Christmas holidays and family but I'm back and I hope you enjoy this story!
---------------------------------------------------------
The morning sun had rose high in the sky and the oak trees had all turned into an amber color due to the change of seasons from summer to autumn the dead leaves had fallen and scattered across the ground creation piles of leaves every so often the forest was beautiful at this time birds chirping and insects crawling there was always something interesting to find and see.Wether that be balancing across a fallen tree trunk trying not to fall or running through the leaves creating big waves as they are thrown into the air and crash back down again.
Tommy loved autumn because of the pretty orange leaves and secrets that were to be revealed within the forest behind the house with lots of fun and games to played and won it was truly the most exciting time of the year besides Christmas.
Waking up early and running down to get his bright red wellies on and red raincoat that matched do he could run into the forest and play amongst the trees watching the ants scurry along preparing for the soon to be winter season.
Tommy found a giant tree that had fallen down to the ground and claimed it as his own using rope and cardboard he made a small house that was attached to the tree decorating it with pillows and blankets and he made a door sign that read
"No entry without permission".Made out of paper and crayons blue tacked on and placed at the front door in attempt to stop his older brothers from walking in and 'ruining' his fun.
He drew a picture of a window and a tv to put inside so it looks like a real home just as he intended to but all this fun eventually came to an end when he was called back home by Phil who also told him to bring back the pillows and blankets as it was due to rain that night and is he did he gatherd all his things and made the journey back home.
Later that night it had started to rain and Tommy sat by the window watching as the raindrops fell he almost cried knowing full well that his 'epic' treehouse that he'd built would no longer be there tomorrow.
That soon enough he realized that tomorrow he could just build another that would be twice as big and even better than the last.
