((A/N; As you can probably tell, this is gonna be a Death Note and FNAF crossover. I got this random, kinda crazy idea of putting Vanny in the center on Death Note for this crossover and it just led to more and more ideas. The timeline is the 'Vanessa: Into Madness' timeline, where Vanny was born in 1997, but the rest is gonna be all my ideas. Glitchtrap/William is gonna be based on Dave Miller, from 'The Silver Eyes'. He didn't die until the year Vanny was born in this, since he was springlocked once, someone helped him in time and then later on died the same death as in 'The Silver Eyes'. I'm not going to give a lot of things away about this, but just know, the timeline and events are kinda confusing. This is not canon. I will be gradually giving clues as to what happened prior to the story events and I will give away information as the story goes on. I also made this 'Vanessa: Into Madness' and Security Breach edit on YT You can see it below. Also, a lot of this will be in Japanese, but I don't feel like translating it all. I was really debating on whether I should make it so then Millie from 'Fazbear Frights: Count The Ways' found the Death Note, but I decided against that. I might make that a concept in a short, scary story for next year's Halloween. Leave a comment if you want to see that happen. Happy reading!))
"Sinister as the end draws nearer
Typical of the ones in fear
Morality will burn and wither
Tragedy is drawn to the bitter."
Yeah, I'll admit it. I don't have the most interesting life. Yes, I live in Japan and have for most of my life, but really, there's about 125.8 million other people living in Japan, so is that really too surprising for most people? I was originally a U.S. citizen, so that could be part of the reason why some people think, "Woah, you live in Japan?" as soon as I tell them.
My family has... had kinda a rough time. Although, according to my older sister, Sara, my mother is definitely doing a lot better now that she's turned her life around. Apparently she was just a complete mess for a few years. It's been just me and my mom since Sara went off to college. She's now an author living in Canada, but she still likes to try and visit every few years and stays in touch.
My dad, on the other hand, I don't even remember. He's apparently some dirtbag that left my mom and Sara not long after I was born. "I'm thankful he left," Sara had said to me. "If he didn't leave, mom would not have made it." I guess that after he left, it gave her a chance to turn her life around.
I still wouldn't forgive my father if I ever saw him again. No matter, he's dead now.
"Higgens, will you please translate this sentence to English?" I heard my teacher ask. I nodded.
"If you can use those fears to shape who you will be and push past them, you can do anything," I said. I was taught both Japanese and English at an early age, so it was a bit easier to communicate when I was first put into school.
I looked out the window, bored as always. Who's not bored at school? Actually, I take that back. It really just depends on what's being taught. I always enjoy things that have to do with technology, so coding class is pretty fun. But other than that, nothing really interests me at school. And I don't really have many friends in general. Sure, on social media, I meet very interesting people, but other than that, there's no one in person that I can really consider my 'friend'.
While we were going over the lesson, I noticed something falling outside. A book of some sort. My eyes followed the object until it was out of sight. By this time, I was only half-listening. For a split-second, I almost thought about getting up to exit the school and look for it. Eh, whatever. It'd probably be gone by the time I looked for it.
