Sparring Time

After some time later, some of the students started to take the second test. Some students showed outstanding powers against the teachers and some performed inadequately.

Levin continued watching the spars until a student caught his eye. A student with blonde hair, blue eyes and an almost perfect looking physique. A few girl students were interested in watching the spar so as the others.

You must be Michael referred to as an angel, correct? The teacher asked. Yes Mr Jones, I am, the student replied. Well then, show me what you got, says Mr Jones. Michael nods as a halo ring appears on top of his head and wings come out from his back. Woooowww! Some of the students said.

Michael then summons a sword out of light that shines brightly as he grips it firmly. Impressive, now attack me, says Mr Jones with an amazed expression. Michael sees Mr Jones keeping his hands in his pockets looking unprepared for an attack.

Is it a trap? Michael asks himself. I guess we'll see, as he swiftly flies towards Mr Jones, proceeding to cut Mr Jones. Swoosh! Mr Jones jumps to the side dodging the attack with his hands still remaining in his pockets.

Michael is amazed at how Mr Jones evaded his attack with ease but continues to attack him with caution. Michael swings his light sword multiple times at Mr Jones while he dodged each attack easily even though his hands are still his pockets.

Michael realizes that his attacks aren't working so then he grabbed his Halo ring above his head and threw it towards Mr Jones. Mr Jones jumps to the side avoiding it but the Halo ring continued to follow him. Michael took this opportunity to attack Mr Jones simultaneously with his Halo ring.

Mr Jones sees the danger as he quickly pushed himself towards the Halo ring and kicks it at an incredible speed and strength. Swoosh! Ding! The Halo ring starts flying towards Michael as he stops to raise his hand. He held his hand up facing the Halo ring causing the Halo ring to slow down till it stopped.

Mr Jones then jumps up with an empowered kick to attack Michael. Michael raises his hand and stretches his fingers which raised the Halo ring and increased it's size to block Mr Jones attack.

Bam! A great gust of wind blew across the sparring ground after the impact. The Halo ring succeeded in blocking the attack. Incredible! Congrats, you passed, says Mr Jones. Thank you Sir, says Michael. He sighs saying to himself that he should've brought out more of his power since Mr Jones hands are still in his damn pockets.

Levin is impressed by this spar as he sees Blake next walking onto the sparring ground. Blake sees Levin as he smiled saying, Watch this! Levin gives him a thumbs up as another teacher steps onto the sparring ground.

They converse a bit before Blake takes his stand. Blake summons a fireball on his hand and throws it towards the teacher. The teacher snaps his fingers as the fireball disappears. This was the same teacher from the first test.

Blake throws a couple more fireballs towards the teacher as he kept snapping his fingers making each of them disappear. Blake stopped for a second to think as the teacher twirled his finger and snapped again. All the fireballs that vanished reappeared but are now flying towards Blake.

Crap! Blake screamed as he slammed the ground hard with his hands. Voom! A flame wall appears before the attack connected. Bam! Boom! All the fireballs were stopped by this flame wall. Well done! says the teacher. Blake smiles as he charges up a flame fist and runs towards the teacher.

The teacher then snapped his fingers causing Blakes flame on his fist to disappear. Blake casts flames on his foot instead then tries to kick the teacher. The teacher snaps his fingers again causing the flame on Blake's foot to disappear while catching his kick. Blake is shook while the teacher smiled at him. He then snaps his fingers once more summoning the flames on his hand burning Blakes foot.

Ahhh! Blake exclaimed while moving back. That's it! Blake exclaimed while he took a deep breathe. Flames start to appear around Blake as the temperature around him start to rise. Thats enough Blake, you pass, says the teacher with a smile. Phew! Says Blake as he starts to walk to me.

How'd I do? He asked. Not bad, I say. Oh shut up Levin, he says with a disappointed voice. Levin laughs a bit and says, If the spar continued, you could've done some serious damage though. That's exactly why he let me pass, says Blake with smirk on his face.

Whatever, we got to take you to the infirmary to fix that burnt foot of yours, I tell him. Burnt by flames, that's funny, I add on. Shut up Levin! says Blake with an annoyed look. I giggle a bit while we started to walk down to the infirmary.
