Chapter 17

The next morning, Neil is getting ready for the meeting in front of the mirror, dressed as usual in a black tuxedo, And then he's wearing his watch when he hears someone's voice speaking to him

Someone - Black clothes again? Uff why do you like black so much ?

Neil looks around in the room and then looks in the mirror in front of which he is standing, And he sees that Avni's figure is visible in the mirror. He gets suprised and shocked

Avni sigh looking at him and then speaks

Avni - Why are you looking at me like this, and what is this?  you always wear black, huh changed this shirt right now ( She said stubbornly)

Neil widen his eyes Hearing her commanding voice but still he doesn't say anything, just keeps looking at her

Then he sees that Avni has a white colored shirt in her hand and she says showing it to him

Avni - will you wear this white shirt today for me ( this time she said cutely in her requesting voice ) white suits you..

Neil smiles and turns back to face Avni but as he turns back Avni has disappeared from there, Neil turns again and looks in the mirror, he does not find Avni there and then he understands that he is imagining Avni again.
He smiles at his antics and says

Neil - what has happened to me? what have you done to me Avni? I have started dreaming of you with open eyes, now every time you are in front of my eyes, you are so close to me yet so far away,
It's  becoming difficult to stay away from you even for a moment, I want to keep you with me all the time
Just a few more hours, and then tomorrow we will officially get into a relationship
i can't wait for tomorrow, Tomorrow is our engagement.

He thinks about all this and then he takes off his black shirt and wears a white shirt and wears the black coat,
Because for him it's not just imagination  but in real he knows that Avni does not always like these black clothes on him.

Time skip

In Mehta House

After dinner, Avni is sitting on the bed in her room.
She looks at the clock and sees that it is 11 o'clock,
She knows like every year at 12 o'clock Neela Ashish will come to her room to celebrate her birthday, so now she will be acting just to sleep.
She is lying on the bed but as soon as she closes her eyes she sees Neil's face and she opens her eyes.

Avni - Neil ( Taking his name she sits on the bed and then speaks) Today he did not call me even once, Is he so busy that he didn't even get time to talk to me?
shall i call him?
No Avni, see the time it is 11 o'clock, he must be sleeping.
Hmm, I'll talk to him tomorrow,
but i don't know why i still want him to wish me first
But this cannot happen because firstly he does not know that tomorrow is my my birthday and secondly he is not even in Mumbai, And anyway, mumma papa wish me first because both of them never forget my birthday ( Thinking this she lays down on the bed again and starts acting like sleeping happily waiting for her parents But she doesn't know when she actually sleeps. )

Avni is a very mature and understanding girl, but still she sometimes gets excited like a child about some things and one of them is her birthday. she gets extra happy on her birthday because of her parents pampering.

Time skip

5 minutes before 12 o'clock, the door of Avni's room opens and the person standing at the door smiles seeing Avni's sleeping figure.

He comes inside the room and then slowly closes the door of the room without making any sound and comes to the bed where she is sleeping peacefully.

The person puts the paper bag he brought with him on the table next to the couch And then comes to Avni and sits in front of her on the floor and then he looks at her clearly and gets mesmerized seeing her how cute she looks even while sleeping, he smiles and slowly caresses her hair and then looks at the watch and says
