given that it's the 27th of december, this is probably one of the last—if not the last—finished artworks i'm going to do this year. and that means i'm going to get all sappy and talk about my art.

i don't think i ever posted it here, i did post it on my tumblr for a while, but the first finished piece i did this year was on january 26th and it was of loki in a maid dress.

anyways, here it is:

i can still remember sketching out the idea for this in my sketchbook during my math zoom.

looking at this again for the first time in months, i'm shocked to see the difference in this and the current artwork above it. and i am absolutely in love with how i can basically see how this style developed and became my current one.

after nearly a year and a half of practicing and attempting to develop a comic book art style, this was my first drawing of a person i did that i genuinely liked. this artwork encouraged me so so much.

anyways, after this we got some lokidraws classics such as infinity stone cereal, and the loki/goose cat, and a LOT more drawings of loki.

this year i've experimented so much with different coloring methods and lineart methods. i've spent countless hours studying anatomy and other comic book art (big shoutout to lee garbett and jim lee, who are my favorite artists and i take so much inspiration from them). i filled two and half sketch books.

i am so proud of the art i made this year.
