Aubrey's Pov
* Flashbacks*
" Mom please!", I whimpered. Her face softened for a second but, suddenly grew dark. She drew her hand back hitting me again and again. " Momma please!" " Im sorry I was just hungry!" She chuckled, and threw me onto the kitchen floor. " I dont EVER want to see you sneeking food ever again!" I nodded my head up and down, and looked down at the floor. She picked herself up and left the room. I heard the door slam and the light go off. I sighed and ran to my room. But i couldnt help my self. I curled my feet up . I was 7 years old and all alone.
I woke up sweating and tears running down my face. It was just a dream Aubs.I ran my fingers through my blonde hair.
I hadn't gotten sleep since I had moved here, and I was meantally and physicaly exhausted.
I got up and walked over to the cabinent to get a glass. I start work tomorrow and I start a new life. No more pain. Just a normal 19 year old smoothie maker. I walked over to my bed and layed down. I was going to be ok. My mom was in prison and my dad commuted suicide when I was three ( True story I'm adopted now).
I needed sleep and tomorrow I started something new.
