The curtain was pulled back and she could see the shadow of a mask, a tube was shoved into the part of the mask where his mouth should be.

"Thomas?" She called his name weakly.

The mask perked up and turned towards her.

"I was hoping to find you."

"Where else would I be" Thomas could not roll his eyes.

"I'm..happy that you forgave me for you know..."

"Shooting me?" He finished here sentence. "Ya, no problem."

She couldnt tell if he was being sarcastic, though he had every right to be.

"It isn't all that easy to admit how wrong I was and I needed you to know that I have forgiven you, too. For my dad."

"Thank you. That means a lot. I wasn't going to let you go to prison for this. That is not the place for you and I understand why you did it."

"I'm glad I didn't, you know, actually kill you."

"Me too."

" Well, I stopped by to tell you I'm going to be going to an inpatient rehab, for sixty days, to get sober.
