Potions and Yoyos

Chapter 2

Lucinda poked the bottle with her wand.

"Lucinda, what potion is that?" Aphmau asked.

Lucinda paid no attention to her.

"I saw you put an emerald in it. What is it? Some kind of forever potion?" Aphmau tried again.

The others tensed up at the mention of the potions they were all terrified of. The events of Starlight has only happened a year before.

Lucinda shook her head, "No, it's not. The recipe from the potion just seems.....familiar."

"So you don't know what it is?" Asked Aaron. His memories have returned, but he was still blind and kept his eyes covered.

"She should," Came a voice. They all turned their heads to three people coming out of the trees. The forest was quiet as they studied each other.

"What do you mean?" Zane asks.

Gene, Sasha, and Zenix ignore him as they neared closer.

"Don't touch it," Lucinda says.

"I remember something or another about it. Was it a teleporting potion?" Lucinda's eyes widened at Genes words.

"I-it's a useless potion without her powers," She said.

Aphmau, Aaron, and Zane watched as the four talked.

"Who are you talking about? Another witch?" Aphmau asks.

"She doesn't have that kind of magic. She has a.... Different kind," Lucinda says.

"What do you mean?"

The potion turns to a gray and Lucinda drops it to the ground. The heat rises out of it, creating smoke.

"What's going on, Lucinda?" Aphmau yells.

Lucinda nears the light where the potion was dropped, "The potions reacting to the magic in her world."

The portal started to close, and Lucinda jumped in. Gene, Sasha and Zenix were behind her.

"Lucinda!" Aphmau yells.

Kim and Emmalyn(I'm just going to call her Ghost), who were there the whole time finally spoke up.

"We should go after her," Says Ghost. Kim agreed and they went to the portal.

Aphmau was hesitant, but decided to go after her friends. She grabbed Aaron and Zane by the hands and pushed them through. The portal was almost closed as she jumped in and lost consciousness.
