A Soulful Sepia, is that what you were to me? What you are?
We're you a mismatched experience, a fault of my eyes and my memories?
I have no words for you.

I've seen your heavy age, mopped on your brow, and wrinkled on your creased frowns,
I've seen summer born in your eyes, seen the world's restoration in the simple promises that you make, everyday, and you say:

"Good morning love, you look beautiful today,"

I have no words, I've seen the grey slip into your teeth, yet all the words you speak are rich in colour,
So rich, so cool
Tender, close to my heart and closer to my speech. Because you taught me.
I have no words. I've seen you sell your love to those who have no need.
I've seen you mark your path with stones. I've seen you mark your steps with prints, so that all who cross will know where you've been.

I've seen you live, and leave me unfinished.
