TOGETHER AT LAST

Loud blaring noises coming from Faye's phone woke her up from a deep slumber. Sighing heavily, she laid in bed hoping whoever was calling her would eventually give up. The loud noise continued for another 5 minutes until she decided to answer the phone. She let out a frustrated grunt and grabbed her phone.

When Faye looked down at the number on her phone it was one she didn't recognize. Her thumb hovered over the decline button, but for some reason she had a bad feeling. She clicked the answer button, and waited for someone to say something.

" Faye are you there ?." The voice coming from the other side of the phone was one the girl knew all too well.

" Aunt bexs it's been years why now." Faye's relationship with her family was always complicated.

" you know if I could come see you I would." Faye scoffed and rolled her eyes.

" you've been alive for over a thousands years I would've thought you would have learn how to lie by now." She spoke in a low tone.

" Faye it's Hope her humanity is off, and right now she needs her family. A glare fixated on her eyes.

" OK one I haven't spoken to Hope in 5 years, so trust me when I say I would be the last one to be able to help her." Faye didn't hate her twin sister but she definitely had a huge grudge against her.

" Faye please I've ran out of ideas." Faye rolled her eyes at her aunt's desperation.

" I haven't even became the tribrid , therefore I don't even really now what she's going through." The young girl was terrified of becoming the Tribrid, it wasn't something she wanted for herself.

" Growing up you and Hope were best friends, deep down you must still care for each other you're sisters for God's sake." Faye smiled at the memories Hope and her once shared.

" Fine I'll go see what I can do that."

" please be careful, I love you." Faye's face scrunched up in disgust when she heard those words.

"Right, this have been a lovely talk goodbye now." She spoke in a sarcastic tone.

Faye hung up the phone and fell backwards on her bed. Truth is Faye always hated saying those words back someone always died or left her when she did.

" Why did I agree to do this, I could be eating pineapples right now." She spoke in a devastated tone.

Faye got up from her bed and went to her bathroom. She looked in the mirror but was quick to look away. Faye always liked seeing herself in the mirror until her mom died. She was a spitting image of her mom.

Every time she looked in the mirror she cried. Faye blamed herself for her mother's death, but she blamed Hope even more. The young girl looked in the mirror but this time there were tears falling from her eyes. Faye took a deep breath and hoped that this day wouldn't get worse.

______________

Faye had made her way to Mystic Falls and was standing in front of the Salvatore school. The gate was bounded with locks and chains. The young girl tilted her head in confusion, she'd never seen this before. Faye thought the school welcomed everyone, or at least they use to.
