Teenage Avengers

the first morning

I wake up and get ready for the day and go down for breakfast with my backpack for school. Bucky is in the car waiting to take me to school. The drive was quite like usual he never really talks to me, or anyone for that matter. I open my bag and grab my headphones, open Spotify, and press play on my vibe playlist. The car takes the turn before we reach the school so I turn off my music and put my headphones back In my bag. We reach the school, he pulls up to the front and parks I open the door to get out and Bucky says "Try not to get detention today, okay." I look at him with a slight grin and say "I make no promises Tinman." After I said that he tilted his head slightly as a way of intimidating me I suppose.

       I close the door of the car and walk up to the front door of the school to meet peter leaning on the door frame on his phone waiting for me. Peter shut his phone off and started to walk with me into the building. As we are walking past the rest of the students and the beige-colored lockers we hear a familiar voice yell "SUP PENIS PARKER! WITH UR GIRLFRIEND OR CAN I HAVE HER?" I whip my head around to see a smirk on Flash's face. I pear at peter and he seemed to have a bothered look on his face, I didn't want Flash to have the last word and peter wasn't gonna say anything so, I decided to speak up and say "Actually yes we are dating, but even if we weren't I would never date you. I would be so embarrassed if you were my boyfriend honestly, I'd rather have someone as amazing as Peter than someone like you Flash." after saying that the hallway went silent and Peter looked at me shocked but also endeared, I slowly intertwined our hands and smiled gently at Peter then I looked back at Flash with a devilish smirk. Flash looked sorta embarrassed by what I said and walked away. After he left everyone went back to talking probably gossiping about what just happened. But I didn't care as long as peter was okay that's all that seemed to matter in that moment.

I look up to Peter who was still smiling at what had just happened, I tightened my grip on his hand and started walking to history class with him. We have the same classes because Tony wanted him to make sure I wouldn't get hurt, which isn't a problem for me, it's more like I'm here for Peter. As we walk into the class and take our seats in front of Ned and Mj, we hear a teasing "Oooooo" come from them both. He looked at me confused and I nudged my head to point to our hands still intertwined. He looks down and back at me with his cheeks turning red, I chuckle at his realization and squeeze his hand tighter to ensure him that I don't mind it. I look back at Mj and Ned and see Mj with a huge grin on her face, while ned is sort of making a shocking smile type of face. I face back in front of me and slowly let go of Peters's hand to get my notebooks because the teacher was going to be there soon. He seemed to have noticed what I was doing and started to do the same.

During class, I answered a few questions, took notes but mostly stared out the window. While taking notes Ms. Lee asked a question about WW1, she looked directly at Peter who was on his chrome book. "Mister Parker, I would appreciate it if you would pay attention to my class. These things will be on the test." Ms. Lee said, "Oh- yeah sorry miss." Peter responded a little nervously while closing his chrome book "Now, would you like to answer the question?" she said to Peter, " Uh- yeah, the main cause of world war one was the assassination of Franz Ferdinand." " Correct Mr. Parker, glad to know you're listening." I looked over at him and gave him a smile which resulted in him smiling back. Soon enough the bell rang and we went to our next classes.

After Math, we went to lunch and met Mj and Ned at a table. "So, in history what was the hand holding all about you two?" Mj said as we both sat down. "Flash." I said with a straight voice and no hesitation "Ugh he sucks, I hate him so much even hearing his name." Ned spoke with a wave of anger in his voice. "Same bestie, I feel you." I said "Speaking of Flash, has anyone seen him after this morning?" asked Peter, "No I hav-" I started to say until I saw him, standing near a pillar looking at us with a devilish smile, "guys...there," I said pointing in his direction, Mj and Ned turned their heads to face where I was pointing and Peter focused his attention to him. All of a sudden Flash started to walk over to us.
