A Little Mixed Up

We have run out of juice

Midweek no one was expecting a baby Hyuka to make an appearance, but he had woken up this way, crying for his Daddy, a feeling Taehyun knew all too well. Though they didn't have to be up for another two and a half hours but he knew the only person Kai wanted right now was their boyfriend.

"Hyuka, come here. Let's go wake Daddy.", he opened his arms to accept his big, emotional, puppy boyfriend. Nodding and waddling along with him, Ningie followed the older maknae to their leader's room. Knocking briefly, they quietly turned the door handle. Taehyun had planned to wake Soobin slowly but the opportunity was quickly stolen from him. As soon as the door was opened, Ningie was already slipping into bed and into Soobin's arms.

"Whoops.", Taehyun chuckled and watched as Soobin groaned at the unexpected intrusion in his bed, blinking harshly to adjust his eyes and comfort the source of the sad sniffles that could only be his little Hueningie.

"Angel???', Soobin looked down at the mopey fluff of brown hair snuggling into his chest then back to the other brunette standing in the doorway who only shrugged and leaned into the hall to investigate the other source of shuffling this early in the TXT dorm.

Yeonjun and Gyu were up this early for who knows what reason, but it sounded like they were banging around in the kitchen. Taehyun knew he should probably intervene before they tried to cook something and burned the whole place down.

"I'm gonna go work on breakfast since we're all up anyways.", he smiled at the picture of his partners snuggling. Soobin was cooing, letting Ningie rub his tummy for comfort and the sniffles had already disappeared. After a few mumbles were exchanged, Soobin nodded and sat up a bit, pulling his Hyuka against his chest.

"Baby said he wants his sippy. Annnnd Taehyunnie snuggles.", Soobin chuckled brightly at the last part because it may or may not have been an addition of his own.

"I guess they can wait a little longer."

Before jumping into bed with them Taehyun called down the hall, "Hyung, Ningie's up and he wants his sippy!!", to whoever would answer.

In the kitchen, Beomgyu was seated on the kitchen counter, eating a bowl of cereal when both he and Yeonjun heard a sniffling Kai and a comforting Taehyun leave their room and head further down the hall.

"You're an absolute hooligan aren't you?", Yeonjun said as he rummaged through the cupboard, referring to his boyfriend eating on the counter, indecisive on what to make for himself. Beomgyu had woken him early insisting he was dying of hunger and unable to go by himself.

"You're the one using 'hooligan' unironically.", the chestnut haired boy giggled before shoveling another spoonful into his mouth. It was then they heard Taehyun yell down the hall. Beomgyu continued eating, leaving the chore up to Yeonjun. Thankfully, he loved his maknaes. Grabbing one of their many acquired sippy cups, he opened the refrigerator to look for the familiar bottle of Kai's grape juice they always had in stock. Moving a few things around, he found nothing.

Cursing under his breath he turned to his boyfriend, "I think we're out of his juice. Can he have some of yours?"

"I would say yes, but little Kai wont drink anything but grape juice. How do you not know this by now?", Gyu teased as he finished the milk in his bowl.

Making the gloomy trip down the hall to Soobin's room, where the door was still open, Yeonjun knew this was the worst time they could run out. A sensitive little Ningie minus his juice wasn't good for anyone. Stopping in the door way, he wished he could appreciate the cute picture of their littlest (GREEN) maknae sandwiched between his boyfriends.

"Oh. Did you not hear me, Yeonjun Hyung?", Taehyun noticed him lurking there empty handed.

"Soobin?", Yeonjun was grateful they had discussed the words he was about to say. Ningie was still new territory for all of them.
