~Rebound~

~Chapter 2~

2 hours and 14 minutes...

2 hours and 14 minutes  until John Zimmermans basketball game starts 

Not like I'm counting or anything

I'm sitting down at the kitchen island at Giada's house, next to nina. 

"So, what are we going to do tonight?" I aksed.

"Going to John zimmermans basketball game, of course" Alyssa says.

"Oh yeah, we are not going..." I said.

"We so are going" Giada said.

"It's his first game though" Nina said. Giada's dad walks in the room and says,

"Basketball game? Man, I would kill to go to a basketball game" We all stare at him while he quietly turns around and walks back down to the basement. 

"We can walk there too" Alyssa said. 

"Come on, its not like you have a crush on him or anything" Nina says hitting my shoulder and laughing. My heart sunk...what if I  do? No thats dumb, I don't like him...he has a girlfriend anyways. 

"Fine...we'll go" I said giving in.

4:53 pm

"Come on we are going to be late" I said to my friends.

"Sounds like somebody really wants to go to John's game" Alyssa taunts. Shes right...but I mean not really, I dont know. 

"No, it's gonna be really funny to see him play, thats all" I say covering it up.

"Ok, fine lets go then" Giada says. We all got up and walked downstairs and put on our shoes and got in the car. Giada's dad turns up the radio and the song "CPR" starts to play while he sings along. We all sit in silence until her dad drops us off at school, before he pulls away he says,

"Have fun girls" We all walk into school and through the gym doors, and the smell of B.O hits our faces.  The Varsity team was pacticing their shots until the game starts. We all find seats and sit down and watch them warmup. I reconigzed a couple of boys from my class on the team, including nina's ex, tyler. Then I saw him...john zimmerman was shooting his ball into the net. I mean, I don't like him but, well I don't know anymore. I watched him throw his ball, He makes such accurite throws. The ball flew towards us, and I yelled, 

"Take cover!" The ball flew right into Giada's face, she never listens. Giada fell to the ground while myles walks up and says, 

"Is she okay? Is she dead? Somebody help!" Dylan looks over and scoffs. Myles then drags giada out of the gym. Once the game started, I couldnt keep my eyes off of John. I mean I hate him but, I might have a softspot for him. All of a sudden, John has control of the ball and he goes to shoot and he says,

"This is for you..." I gasp, is he gonna say my name?

"..Cece" He throws the ball and it ricochets off the back board and falls to the ground. My heart  sunk, cece...

"Haha, I forgot he's dating cece" Nina said laughing. 

"Me too" I said. I hold my tears and run into the girls bathroom, I whip open the door to see giadas body unconisous lying on the floor. I step over her and open a stall door and fall to the ground. I hear the bathroom door open and somebody opens the stall door, it was myles,

"Is she okay, or is she dead?" He said.

"GO AWAY MYLES" I yell at him, and he runs out. I hear the bathroom door open once again,

"Myles I swear to god.." I start.

"Whos myles?" A strange voice says. I look up and see cece,

"Nevermind" I said.

"Ohhhh your the girl trying to steal my mans" She replies.

"Um what no.." I said.

"Your a whore" She said.

"Um news flash, look what your wearing" I said like a girl boss.

"Look what your wearing, straight outta gap lookin bitch" She shot back. I held up my middle finger and walked out of the bathroom. I was walking back to my seats when I felt somebody tap my shoulder, I turn around and cece punched me in the face. I fell back and swooped her leg and she hit the hard gym floor. The boys stopped playing basketball and John yelled,

"YESSIR BEST HALF-TIME SHOW EVER!!" I punched her and she keep fighting back. 

"Oh shit thats my girlfriend.." He added. John ran over and pushed us apart and threw me to the ground and held onto cece. 

"John, make sure I never see that whore again" Cece says.

"Will do babe" He says while grabbing cece's ass and kissing her cheek. I got up and ran out of the gym and opened up the door to outside and stepped on giada lying on the concrete. I contined running, it was my only coping method.
