chapter 3- escape

TW: blood.

"HOW DID WE GET HERE...?"

Alexia quickly turned her head to see just a maid, "What are you doing here..." The maid frighten, her hair was in a messy bun, her eyes frighten yet has gorgous brown eyes. "You must leave while you can before you end up on their plate.." The maid whispered before going back to work, pretending alexia didn't exist or wasn't there. Alexia was somewhat confused about what she said but she took her words to heart. Alexia began to crawl in hopes of finding an exit in the kicthen.  She had snuck by the chef and hide in the the cabniet. She peaked through a hole to see no doggy door or no exit at the kicthen. 

"Shit..." alexia mumbled under her breath, she didn't know any other exit left in the house, so she'd had to fend on her own. Before she got out her hiding space she heard footsteps, at first she thought it was the woman from before, but the footsteps felt different, these footsteps sounds like a man.  "Why is there garlic in the meat?" The man intimidatly asked, his voice sounded french, and very strong accent too. "So sorry sir-" The chef, trying to apologize for the mistake before he was interrupeted. "No! you're not sorry you know we can't eat garlic we would all choke and die or burn to death!" The man yelled, throwing the food on the ground, alexia took a peak at the floor to see the meat splattered all over the floor. "Clean this up and make the dish RIGHT."  The man yelled once more before leaving the room. 

"Muet et ignorant" The man mumbled in french. Alexia waited until both men left the room so she could leave her hiding spot, once she left her hiding spot she quickly hid behind a book shelf. Hoping no one would see her, until she heard babies voice at first she thought it was all in her head but the voices kept getting louder and louder and louder until she saw the babies flying in the way with their bat wings

Alexia was running at this point, she didn't care if anyone saw her she just wanted to get out, she was soon cornered, she thought she was going to die but then she had a bright idea. She dashed to the kicthen as the little babies were flying after to her and as soon as she picked up the garlic she knew exactly what she was about to do. She threw garlic at the babies eyes hoping it'd either slow them down or kill them. The babies cried so loud the whole entire house heard the cries. 

"WHO'S THERE?" 

As soon as alexia heard that voice. She fainted instantly.
