Gregory just wanted to go home, but of course, he had no place to call home - at least not anymore. He had nowhere to go for comfort, and the anxiety was beginning to prove a bit too much for the boy.

What finally tipped the scale was that deep yell from Monty. "There you are!" right before the loud crash of a metal gate. At that moment, Gregory felt so small and frightened. All he could do was run as fast as he could, stumbling slightly, having slight difficulty coordinating his movements. His focus was all over the place, but he was reminded why he was running when he heard another voice behind him.

"Are you lost?" Roxy was chasing him too. That voice would have sounded so comforting to Gregory if they weren't trying to kill him. Despite feeling so different and disoriented, he still knew he couldn't afford to stop running.

Another, more sing-songy voice sounded out behind him. "Lost boy over here!" It was so loud. His heart was beating so fast. He stumbled again, resorting to running up the stairs on all fours. He couldn't catch a break. The stomping behind him was louder, too. Were they getting closer or was the anxiety just making everything louder? It didn't matter, he just needed to run.

Gregory just wanted to cry. He wanted to lay down and sob until his eyes hurt. He was supposed to be strong. He was supposed to be brave. He had been through so much already, so why did he feel this way? He could take care of himself - that’s all he knew how to do. There was the slamming of a door behind him.

"Well done Gregory! You found a security office! You should be quite safe here." It was Freddy! Freddy said he was safe now... "The doors were designed to keep our highly-trained security staff safe in the event of an emergency. As long as the doors stay closed, which they will, as long as there is ample power…"

"Freddy… ‘m scared," his voice came out so quiet and weak. He was normally so bold, but everything was just too much right now. That pounding on the door… Gregory peaked out the window by the door - a big mistake - seeing Monty banging on the door was not what Gregory needed to calm himself down. He felt so vulnerable. "Gonna get me! 'M want bubba!" his voice choked out.

"Gregory?" There was a brief pause on Freddy’s end, only filled by Gregory’s quiet cries and banging on the door. "I think I know what is happening here. Gregory, can you do me a favor? We are going to go on a very important mission together, okay? You see that button on the desk?"

There was a red button on the desk. It was another one of those Freddy-looking buttons - the silhouette of a bear with a hat and bowtie. The button turned green, and Freddy spoke again, "Press it for me and you will be able to look at the security cameras on your watch. I am truly sorry I cannot reach you right now. Go to the main lobby and you will be able to escape."

Gregory felt a tear roll down his cheek. Why couldn't Freddy come to get him? Why did he have to be all on his own? He didn't want to be brave if it meant he could get hurt again! But Freddy promised he'd be okay…

He made sure no one was on the camera, opened the door, and peaked out. The coast was clear. He crawled out into the hallway and saw a door around the corner. Crawling a bit more, he saw Chica rounding the corner, walking away from the door and away from Gregory. He could barely rationalize that Chica didn't see him. His head was so fuzzy; it felt horrible.

Crawling through the doors as quietly as he could, he eventually reached the main lobby. "Freddy Fazbear’s Mega Pizzaplex is now closed. Initiating nighttime protocols." Gregory saw the doors begin to close, but he didn't understand the new situation he was being put in. He just wanted Freddy and his bubba…

"Gregory, did you make it outside of the Pizzaplex?" There he remembered his mission was to leave. He failed. What was he supposed to do now? Gregory did the only thing he could think to do: he sat and cried. "It’s okay, Gregory! There is still hope. You should be able to escape when the security doors reopen at 6:00 AM. Until then, I will help you find another way out. For now, you should try to find a Complimentary Pizzaplex Entry Pass. There should be one located near the main entrance. I believe in you, superstar!"
