Kujou Sara stared down at the sight of the large, muscular horned man at her feet as she stood at the entrance of her family's estate. "Who is this?" "Pardon us Kujou Tengu, this is the leader of the Arataki gang".

Sara narrowed her eyes. "Your name?" "Arataki Itto, the one and oni!" "You seem suprisingly cheerful for someone who is at mercy of me" "Well of course, I'll always escape" The man finally looked up, a smirk on his face as he rattled the chains bonding his arms together.

Her eyes were drawn to the intricate swirls on the Oni's arms.

She couldn't help it. "Release him. NOW!" The soldiers stared at their leader in doubt. "Kuj-" "I said, do it now. Then bring him with me." Sara turned her back and began to walk briskly into the entrance of the estate. 

She heard the soldiers struggling in the background but she didn't care about that.

Holding her breath gently, she slowly pealed off part of her sleeve to reveal the soulmate mark she'd never payed attention to since she'd got it.

There was no doubt about it. It was the same place that this 'Arataki itto' had his soulmate mark, and the jutting points were the exact same.

"We've brought him..." The soldiers deposited him behind Sara as she quickly replaced the piece of fabric to where it was before. "Hm. Leave. I must speak to him."

"Sooo pretty lady, whatcha want from me?" She could feel the arrogance radiating off him in waves. "Show me your soulmate mark. Now.".

The crimson oni didn't know what else to do, so he held out his arm. "What, do you want to be MY soulmate?" he winked gently. But Sara turned pale when she saw it. "Hey lady you ok?" 

Sara pinched herself gently, before snapping her jaw back up. She was back to buisness-like behaviour. But still, she rolled up her sleeve one more time to reveal the same swirls, same points.

"Holy s**t I'm soulmates with a criminal"

"Ouch, am I really that bad?" Itto grinned a little as he walked a couple of steps closer to the grey and white clad woman. "Yes" Sara gritted her teeth as she thought of the shame.

"Let us make a small promise"

Sara's promise turned out to be a full blown contract, in which she wrote out in black ink.

Contract of Kujou Sara, and Arataki Itto.

No.1: Under no circumstances will Arataki Itto reveal that he and Kujou Sara are soulmates.

No.2: Kujou Sara will spar with Arataki Itto in exchange for his silence.

(Sara gave him a death glare at that)

No.3: If someone notices that their soulmate marks are the same, Kujou Sara and Arataki Itto promise to lie to save their secret.

No.4: Arataki Itto and Kujou Sara promise to always tell the truth to each other.

What happened was something that no one could predict.

Contract rule Number three was broken in a week.
