Book of the week:
The colors have fallen away as they don't work at the moment. Romance are overpowering and the other genres are not filling up. So the colors are going to fall away. Every book is going to have a book of the week spotlight.
You only need to read one chapter of that book. That is it.
This rule will come back if the genres have grown: The groups will be color groups, like pink, yellow, purple etc, and every color group will have members that are part of that group. They will read each other's books. One of those books will be the book of the week too. It rotates on a weekly basis and everyone has to read that book. Every color group will have a book of the week that everyone in that color group has to read one chapter of. If you are the lucky winner that week, then you will read two chapters of the book of the month. Great to be the book of the month, right?
If it's your partner's book that is the book of the week, then just read one extra chapter for that week more. There will come a time that he/she is going to repay that chapter when your book will be the book of the week.
The book club does this so that everyone gets that boost in reads every x amount of weeks.
