Emily's POV

It's been a week since I stopped Ali from running again and stay with me, us. A aka Shana is gone and it was save for her to come home. Even though I'm really glad that she's back safe and sound I still don't know how to act around her. I mean she broke my heart into a million pieces and always played me and I'm afraid that if I let her close to me again she might do it again.

"Hey sleepover at mine tonight at 8 ?", it's a group text from spence.

HM: "I'm in :)"

AM: "Me too "

AD: "Yes, just like oldtimes :)"

I don't know if i should go I mean I've been kinda avoiding Ali since shes back so I think it might be awkward, but if I dont come it would be a lot more suspicious so I just text them to count me in too and try to focus on what the teacher's talking bout.

*later that afternoon*

Alison's POV

It's 7:30 and I'm actually pretty excited for the sleepover. Mainly because I haven't really spoken to Em since I came home and it feels like she's avoiding me, although she was the one who stopped me from running again. I stayed for her, she was the reason I wanted to come home so badly, I missed her so much and now that everything seems kinda okey it seems like she doesn't want me around and that breaks my heart. While I'm thinking what I could say to her tonight I gaze over to the clock and it say's 7:50. Shit I have to get going if I dont want to be to late so I jump out of the bed, check my outfit and make-up once again in the mirror and go over to spencers. I knock at the door and wait for her to open it.

"hey ali" spencer says as she opens the t'door and let me in

"hi am i to late? " I ask as I look around in the living room and see hanna, aria and emily sitting around a couple dvds and argue which one we should watch.

"No not at all they just arrived a couple minutes before you " she says as she walks over to them

As I follow her over I sit down next to Emily and she tenses a little as i swipe her arm with mine. Soon we decided what to watch and got to spencers room and put on the movie.

"I'm going to get something to drink, you guys want something too?" Emily asks during the movie.

"Yeess and make some popcorn" Hanna says without looking away from the screen.

"I'll help you " I say immediately and get up.

I follow her down stairs and when we get in the kitchen I brace up speak to her.

"Hey Em can I ask you something?" I start

"Sure ", she says and turns to me

Emily's POV

I know I can't just say no so I answered "Sure" I turn around and look at her.

"Why are you avoiding me and don't tell me you're not because everytime I wanna talk to you, you find a lame excuss. So please tell me whats going on I miss you Em " she says and I'm a bit shocked that she just asked me straight forward.

"It's not as easy as I thought it would be " I start " Since you're back I don't know how to act around you. You broke my heart Alison and you let me believe you were dead, do you know how I felt when they said they found your body? It broke my heart once again and I don't know if I can go through all of this again." I said and before I could notice my eyes start to water. Ali just looked at me and grabbed my hand and hold them in hers and looked me in the eyes.

"I am so sorry Em. I never wanted that to happen and after I was gone I realized I shouldn't have rejected you in the locker room. I had so much time to think when I was out there alone, always running, that I realized how much I missed you and that I love you. I was afraid to tell you because about what everybody would think but now I know that I don't care what they think about me, I love you Emily and I can't loose you again." after she said that she leaned in for a kiss and when her lips touched mine I kissed her back and then I pulled back and looked into her beautiful blue eyes. "It's okay Em"; she whispered and I couldn't help but kiss her again, this time more passionate and when we pulled away again I leaned my forehead against hers and just smiled. "I love you too" I said and held her tight.

Alison's POV

I leaned my forehead against Emilys I can't believe what just happend I told her how I feel and she reciprocates my feelings after all those years. I just stand there while she held me and smiled like an idiot .
