Mindy's room was your regular teenage girl room. She had pictures of BTS allover the walls, she also had a lot of BTS merchs too because she was a teenage girl who loved the south korean boy band.
Next to her window was her reading table and on it was the DIARY. She's had that diary since her 16th birthday, it was a birthday gift from her mom and for once in her life, she loved something that was given to her by her mom

"BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WRITE DOWN" read Mindy, ' what a stupid way to give out a warning, it's a f***king diary where I get to write down all my secrets, nobody's gonna read them'. On the cover of the diary it read BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WRITE DOWN, but Mindy finds it stupid and funny.

' Dear diary', began Mindy ' today wasn't any better than yesterday, again I got bullied by Annabelle, sucked at gym class, went late for music class for the 5th time in a row, Jake still didn't notice me and worst, my parents are still fighting.  I just want things to be okay for me for once, I just want to be popular for once, I just wanna be Happy ', Mindy wrote all this in her diary with tears in her eyes, she wasn't enjoying the four walls of high school.
' Well all I wish for is for Jake to finally notice me, I want him to love me ', just as she was about to write down more she heard her mom's voice calling her downstairs for dinner, ' Mindy it's time for dinner', ' I'll be right down mom', said Mindy as she put her pen down and closed her diary.

Dinner wasn't one of Mindy's favourites either, ' so how was school today?' asked her dad
' school was fine, just that I went late for music class again'
' come on Mindy you've got to stop doing that, one more late class attendance you're gonna have to forget about going to summer camp'
' oh come on dad, not summer camp, please don't do this'
' only if you promise me you won't go late to class?'
' I promise I won't'
' alright my little mochi'. Mr. Shipman calls Mindy MY LITTLE MOCHI because Mindy's favourite member of the south korean boy band, BTS's park jimin, calls himself BABY MOCHI.

Mindy tried all through dinner to start a conversation with her mom, but mrs. Shipman just didn't want to have a conversation with her, Mindy felt angry and excused herself from the dinning table and into her room.

While on her bed she could hear the voices of her parents arguing again, she just wanted it all to end, she threw a pillow over her head to stop the noise but it didn't work. Mindy ended up crying herself to sleep.

' Buzzzzzzz' went the alarm clock, morning already. Mindy stood up from her bed and into the shower, getting ready for another day in the four walls of hell, she rushed downstairs only to find her dad sleeping on the couch,
' hey Dad get up, I have to go to school and you're driving '
' oh hey little mochi, you're up early' said her dad while trying to get up
' yeah I am, I have homework due today at 8, so I have to be in school before 8'
' alright, I'll just grab a toast and we'll be off' said her dad while smiling
' hey where's mom?'
' probably upstairs still sleeping'
' alright, dad come on let's go'. They both rushed out from the house and into the car,

' you're quiet, what's wrong sweetheart?'
' nothing dad, I'm fine' said Mindy while trying to fake a smile
' alright we're here. You know I love you right?'
' yeah I do'
' Good, so whatever's going on, you can tell me, I'll never scold you alright, I'm here for you and I'll forever be here for you'.
' thanks Dad, I love you too' said Mindy while giving her dad a hug.
' bye mochi'
' bye dad'

' Hi Mindy stinky' said Annabelle
' hi Annabelle' said Mindy with a frown
' oh come on now Mindy, smile, today's gonna be a good day, just not for you as always'

' Hey, leave her alone, will ya' said Jack
Mindy couldn't believe what she heard, no one could either, Jack just stood up for her, Jack Reaper, the most popular boy in school, loved by all the teachers and students, he stood up for Mindy Stinky Shipman
' just enough of the trash talks Annabelle, Mindy's human too just like you and me, why do you even hate her so much? She never did anything wrong to you, did she? Just let her live okay?'
Annabelle just stood there frozen, staring at Jack dumbfounded, she had no idea why he would do that, standing up for Mindy wasn't enough, but he just made a fool of her in front of the whole class
' dude what gives, why are you standing up for Mindy Stinky Shipman?'  asked Annabelle
' can you just please stop calling her that, her name is Mindy Shipman' replied jack
' and also Annabelle it wouldn't hurt if you tried to treat her like a human '
' hey are you okay?' asked jack to Mindy
' I ....uhmmmm.......I..... I'm...o....kay, yeah I'm okay' replied scared and confused Mindy. But just then the bell for the first lesson rang
' I'll see you at lunch today okay!' said Jack
' yeah sure okay great sure' said Mindy

She could believe it, Jack Reaper just spoke to her and he even stood up for her. She was so happy that she didn't even know when time ran all the way down to lunch

'Hey' said the familiar voice Mindy was hoping to hear
' sorry I'm late, I had to finish up my art work from art class' said Jack
' so what's for lunch?'
' nothing serious, just Mac and cheese, my dad's specials'
' nice, well Mindy I wanna tell you something'
' what's wrong?'
' I just hope you feel same way. Mindy I've had a crush on you since the 2nd grade and I've been shy to tell you all this while, but right now I'm not anymore'
Mindy just sat there scared, happy, confused and excited all in one, she didn't know what to say or do but all she knew was that she liked and enjoyed the moment and she wished that it won't end. But her wish was cut short by the bell
All through the class she could feel eyes on her, the whole class was staring at her and it made her feel uneasy, she didn't like it, but she was happy and she was lost in her thoughts, but was brought back by the sound of the bell for closing

While she walked out of the school, she could see her dad waiting for her by the car, feeling very happy and having butterflies in her stomach she ran to her dad and gave him a very big and tight hug and also her biggest and warmest smile ever
' someone looks so happy today, mind letting me on a little secret of yours?' asked her dad
' sure but not now, when we get home' said Mindy with a very big wide smile plastered on her face as she hops into the car.
