The metal chain around my neck burned into my skin as black smoke emerged from my eyesockets. My eyes were still there, but my vision blured to a deep and empty black. My eyes became that same color. "Thank you for freeing me from Louis, she was really becoming a bother. And now that I can see, I will get my revenge on all of those horrid roaches known as teenagers at your school who called me names and made fun of me." She took off her glasses as my deep blue eyes grew into her skull like they were her own. "I was once kind like you, then I met Louis. It's amazing what a little ghost can do to your sanity in the span of less than a lifetime." She smiled and slammed the door in my face.
"Don't worry, from now on I will be your eyes." A voice echoed around me. "I am here and I am dead, but if you get tired of me, you can simply find someone as kind as you and give them the locket. That will be pretty hard considering your situation." I heard the crack of a window and a thud on the ground. "You might need these!" Called Emily from her window. I bent down and felt around the ground to find a pair of sunglasses alittle cracked. I put them on and stood up, dusting off the dirt and grass. I could see only one thing, and that was Louis. She was mildly tall, very skinny , pale white, with bright green eyes. "I was born with no eyes, so I stole a pair from my once beautiful sister. She died in the process so my mother and father got revenge by sewing my eyes shut and locking me in my room until I starved to death. All I had left was my locket until they took it from me and sold it to someone along with giving MY eyes back to my sister. That's why I started the cycle of stealing more and more eyes." I listened to the ranting of her unspeakable doings until Courtney and her pack of rats made their way over to me. "Oh you got her glasses, let me see." She reached for them but I slapped her hand out of my face before running off. I couldn't be caught with no eyes or everyone would flip. I needed help and I wasn't about to give this locket to an innocent who didn't deserve it. I knew I had to find her sisters body. If I do, then she might be able to steal those eyes and give mine back.
