Trouble || Corey Wilson

Lacey knocked on the Wilson's door, hoping Jordan would be in, instead Corey opened the door and leant on the door frame saying hello to her.

"Thought you were busy." Corey said smiling, happy to see Lacey on his doorstep.
"I was, but I wanted to check on Jordan, he ain't in is he?" Lacey said.
"No, haven't seen him since this morning, you coming in?" Corey asked but Lacey just shook her said telling him how she has to get back and check on her own brother. Corey offered to walk her home and Lacey could see that he wanted to get out the house, probably to get away from his dad, and so she let him join her.

It was turning dark now, and the streetlights lit up the path as the two walked together side by side chatting away.
"You seen Miss Keane's nudes?" Corey asked putting his hands on his pockets.
"Yeh course I have, the whole bloody schools seen Miss Keane's boob's." Lacey said making the two of them laugh. She put her arms round Corey's arm and leant her head on his shoulder, "What do you think she was doing when she took that picture?" She wondered aloud.
"I don't know what she was doing but I bet I know what she did after she took the picture." Corey said making Lacey chuckle.
"Urgh. Don't say that Cor, I don't wanna imagine it." Lacey's face screwed up in disgust.

They had made it to Lacey's road and she could see that her living room light was on and she hoped it was her brother watching telly and not her mum. As bad as it may seem, she hoped it was just gonna be her and Hayden this evening so she could actually relax after todays events instead of stressing over her mum. She asked Corey, "Was your dad alright when you got back?"
"Yeah, yeah, he was passed out in the sofa." He replied.
"So you'll be alright tonight then?"
"Yeah, I'll be fine. I'm gonna stay up for a bit to see if Jordan gets back." And Lacey just nodded in reply. They were outside her house now and Lacey turned so she was in front of Corey and hugged him.

"Is your mum in?" Corey asked her keeping his hands round her waist but leant back to look at her.
"Not sure, why?" Lacey asked smiling up at him, her hands that were still round his neck were playing with his hair. She looked at his smiling face knowing exactly what he was thinking, but Lacey James is and always will be a tease, so she leant in and kissed him on the lips. Corey smiled into the kiss and kissed back, tightening his hold round her waist loving having Lacey this close to him. Then, he tried to deepen the kiss however, Lacey giggled to herself and stepped back, smiling sweetly at Corey, she gently shook her head walking backwards to her front door.

Corey groaned looking up to the sky, he dragged his hand down his face in frustration, looking back at Lacey he saw her teasing face and asked laughing to himself, "Why'd you stop?"
Lacey smirked back at him and tilted her head slightly, "Just wanted to." She said softly repeating what he had told her in the 6th form hub earlier today, Corey smiled and shook his head back at her.

Lacey pleased with herself said, "See you tomorrow Corey." They both chuckled at each other, "And don't stay up too late." Corey said goodbye too and left to go home as Lacey went inside. She was greeted by her brother who was watching telly and so she joined him for a bit before she made dinner for them both.

They had a nice evening chatting about school and stuff, avoiding the topic of their missing mum, as they both assumed she'd gone to see her boyfriend, Mike, like she did most of the time.

As she was setting an alarm for the next day in hope of not having a repeat of this morning, she received a message from Jordan telling her that he was fine and will walk with her in the morning. It made Lacey smile knowing Jordan was safe as she felt awful about leaving him alone with his dad, as she knew it sometimes didn't end well for him. She often felt helpless around Jordan, as so many of his problems were out of her and his control so most of the time she was just their to reassure him and him her sometimes. The same went for Corey, she couldn't really solve his problems even though she wished she could but they were their for each other and that's what mattered to them most.

Lacey lay in her bed exhausted from her first day back and got lost in her thoughts like she often did. She thought about how Missy's mum came back today and hoped that they were all alright and she thought about her whole day but what was on the forefront of her mind was, Corey. More importantly her and Corey's kiss, and how much she enjoyed it; way more than anybody else she'd made out with. But why did she like it more? What was so different about it, it's not like they haven't kissed before? It made her wonder if she pulled away because she was teasing him like she did everybody or was she avoiding something, something she didn't want to admit?

Lacey and Jordan were standing in her kitchen eating toast and talking. Hayden came down stairs, grabbed his bag and went out the door after saying a quick bye, ignoring his sisters shouts to eat breakfast.

"Alright, don't eat the toast I made you." She said loudly while waving a piece of toast in the air at the door that had just shut. Then Jordan quickly snatched it out of her hand, taking a bite before Lacey could notice what he was doing.
"Oi, how'd you know I weren't going to eat that!" exclaimed Lacey looking at Jordan in disbelief, but he just looked back at her shrugging his shoulders and taking another bite. She tided up the kitchen, putting her plate in the sink, eyeing up Jordan who was just eating his toast innocently, making her laugh at him.
"What?" He questioned while putting his plate in the sink too. She replied back with a, "nothing" and chuckled to herself.

They walked to school and were actually on time today. In the playground they parted ways, Jordan going somewhere (Lacey hoped it would be his lesson but that seemed unlikely these days), and Lacey ran up to Missy noticing she wasn't with Nas this morning.
