Never existed
The class could not have went ahead with their studies without their beloved [Name]. It wasn't right. Especially when she could possibly be in danger. Korosensei could not just let one of his students disappear out of thin air and do nothing about it.
They first went to the authorities to file a missing persons report.
"Aren't you kids supposed to be at school at this hour?" The police officer looked at the large group skeptically. This must be some sort of prank.
"We're here to report that a classmate of ours has... um.. gone missing." Nagisa said with a bitter taste in his mouth. It felt odd. Like a sick dream he shared with his classmates and teachers.
The officer, in front of his computer raised a brow, scooting closer to his desk. "Alright." His hands hovered over his keyboard, getting ready to type. "What's their name?" A serious expression overlapping his previous skeptical look.
"[LastName] [Name]." Karma replied, feeling a little impatient.
The police officer typed the name. His fingers slowing in pace. "Okay..." He glanced at the group one again before asking another question. "When do you suppose they went missing."
"Well, it was a half hour after school was dismissed so muh-maybe around 3:50pm..?" Kaede was unsure herself. The time didn't seem to important at that moment. She never would have thought she and her classmates would have to come to do something such as this.
The officer stopped typing and pushed himself slightly away from his desk. "If you kids are done with this little prank of yours, you can go back to school." He tried his best not to sound angered in case this was something far more serious.
"What are you talking about?!" Nagisa raised his voice.
"Look here." The officer turned his computer screen towards them. "There is no [LastName] [Name] in the system." He observed their faces carefully. To no avail, their reactions showed that they were serious about this 'missing person'. Sighing, he fixed his screen.
"A person of that name never existed."
Their hearts dropped.
How could that possibly be?
There was no way that [Name] was a figment of their imagination.
There was no way in hell.
[LastName] [Name]...
...had never existed..?

While the students and Irina went to the police station, Karasuma went to the Ministry of Defense fro more information. Even then, they refused to give him any information on someone, who probably doesn't even exist, who could be a liability. Anything. They said nothing about the students disappearance. Telling Tadaomi that he should get some time off of work to clear his head of his fascinations.
"You can't just turn a blind eye to thi-!"
"Karasuma, we're sorry but..." The woman speaking to him looked at him with pity. "..Just go home. We.. can't have you working in this condition."
And just like that, he was ignored. About something so urgent.
He had never felt so defeated.
His mouth opened to argue more, but he figured they wouldn't budge. Karasuma clenched his fists tightly into balls. Grinding his teeth, then biting back anything to retort back.
He walked out with a heavy weight on his shoulders. Brows scrunched so closely together, it may as well be his resting face.
"..Maybe I should have..." Coincidentally, the weather matched Class E's feelings. Drops of rain fell from the sky. Karasuma's eyes darkened. His suit became drenched. "...I should have adopted her when I had the chance."
Now, everyone felt they were to blame. Although, some blamed others more than they blamed themselves. They thought that the ones to blame were Nagisa, Kaede, and Karma.
They felt it too. But as of now, they didn't care if they were seen as the most responsible ones for [Name]'s disappearance. All they cared about was finding her and bringing her back to her home away from the orphanage. Back to Class E. Back to them.
However, they felt that it was a task near impossible. But they hoped for luck to be on their side.
