I woke up, it was the weekend, finally. And, it was my birthday. I'm officially twenty. I checked my phone and saw that at least fifty people sent me happy birthday texts. Smiling happily, I got out of bed and walked to my closet. I looked for a cute outfit, not too sexist, just plain cute. In my closet, I found a striped tank top with denim shorts. I put a flower in my hair and last but not least, flower sandals. I loved flowers, a lot. As I walked downstairs, I saw my mom already made me breakfast, I was more than happy now. It was a delicious breakfast. Crispy bacon, with butter and jelly bread. My mom told me to cover my eyes, she had a surprise for me, so I did. "Mom, what is it? I really want to know." I said, she suddenly opened my eyes and there everyone was. Pretty much all of my friends and some guys. I squealed with excitement. "Thank you, mom!" I hugged her, tight. My best friend of all friends, Taylor ran over to me, hugging me. "Happy birthday, Sel." Taylor said. I hugged her back while saying "Thank you, Tay," I pulled away to go to see some of my other friends. I saw my guy best friend, Keegan. He smiled at me and said "Hey brunette." That's what he always calls me. I smiled back, "Hey you." "So, I heard it's your birthday?" He smirked at me, playfully. I laughed silently. "Apparently it is." He chuckled. "Anything you would like to do today, birthday girl?" I shook my head. "This is enough for me, I'm not that kind of party girl." "Alright, brunette, well, I got you something," He took my hand and walked me outside. There, was a brand new car, a bright blue convertible. It was perfect, I couldn't believe what I was staring at. I smiled wide. "Oh my god, Keegan, it's amazing! Thank you!" He smiled. "No problem, anything for you, Selena." I ran back inside the house and got my mom, Taylor, and everyone else outside to see the new car. Everyone couldn't get their eyes of it. I suddenly saw a truck coming down the road, looked like a moving truck. I guess we got new neighbors. I glanced quickly to see who's the neighbors. A boy, with brown hair, spiked up to his forehead, perfect lips, and captivating hazel eyes. He looked cute. I told my mom that I was going to go greet the neighbors, I did. He saw me walk over. "You must be the newbies, huh?" I said. He locked his eyes on me, smiling. "Looks like we are. We moved from Canada." I was surprised, since him moving to a different country must take forever. "Canada? Wow, that must be a far drive." He chuckled. "Nah, only if you sleep half the time, you'll be fine." I laughed. He looked over at the converitble, then at me. "New car?" "Yeah, actually, it's my birthday, my best friend got me it." I said. "Damn, that's a nice car, well for a girl." He said, laughing, as well as I. He held out his hand. "Please, call me Justin." I shook his hand. "I'm Selena, nice to meet you." "Selena? That's a beautiful name. Here's what I was thinking. We could go get frozen yogurt? My treat, since it's your birthday." I smiled sweetly. "Sure, just let me tell my parents." I walked over, telling my mom. Keegan overheard me and frowned, staring at Justin. I walked back to where Justin was..only Justin was gone. "What the.." I said to myself, softly.
