Chapter 4

Thomas' P.O.V.

I can't believe Ms. Diaz is scolding Clary and Dylan. I feel like standing up and defending Clary. I don't care about Dylan. I really gotta stop thinking like this! It feels like I'm cheating on my girlfriend. As classes went by I can't help but take glances at Clary. I was thinking of how to say sorry to Clary.
I was snapped back into reality by Clary saying that we should start our experiment.
After she was done speaking, I finally got the courage to say sorry to her. Here goes nothing! I say to myself.

Clary's P.O.V.

After I was done speaking. I heard the most unexpected words that will come out from Thomas' mouth, " I'm sorry. " After he said that I could feel myself getting a bit annoyed. I was thinking to myself why he only said that word now! I f he only said that earlier, I can still forgive him but now it's too late. He already made it difficult to forgive him.
Thomas snapped me out of my thoughts by asking if he would ever forgive me.
Can I talk to you at lunch? I asked.
He said no because his girlfriend, Isabella wants to hung out with her, so he can't.
Well my answer is no. I say a bit angry mixed with an annoyed tone.
Please Clary. I would do anything just to forgive me. Thomas said.
I can forgive you if you promise me that you will never bully me or anyone else again.
I said in with a stern voice. I can't really do that because I will lose my girlfriend, It will ruin my popularity and... I stopped him before he could say anything else.
Why will it ruin your popularity? I asked being curious now.
Well when I was new here I was also bullied and was made fun of but ever since the day you came to this school. I wasn't bullied anymore and I decided to bully you so that I can be popular. He said with a sad face.
I was supposed to say something but was interrupted by Ms. Diaz.
