You walked around the mall, making your way to the Daycare. You had almost finished your job for the day, and the last thing you had to do was look around the daycare and clean up anything left over there. You walked in through the large wooden doors, putting your bag down onto the chair at the desk. You checked the time on one of the computers. 1:24 AM.
You went through all your requirements for every shift you had, making sure that you'd done all of them already. You nodded to yourself, putting your hat onto your bag. You looked around the large area, spotting out a few things. You walked over to one of them, picking it up. You made a bit of a confused face, the item you picked up was a pair of glasses. You wondered what kid had left them there and how they didnt get them back.
You looked around more, finding more pretty normal things. Socks, Hats, Empty cans of Fizzyfaz, etc. You brought all the things you found to the desk, putting them in a pile to bring to the lost and found later. Now you had cleared off most of the entire ground area. The real hard (and a bit embarrassing) part was all that was left now. You had to look through the whole play structure for things now, since it was the place that most kids did forget things at.
You always had felt a little bit humiliated when you had to look in the play structure, since you werent really a kid anymore. You were thankful that Sun never came out when you were looking though, he always respected your work and left you be when you were doing your job. Sometimes you would talk for a bit after your shift was over, though.
Sun was generally a very nice animatronic, he was always really friendly and thoughtful. He did get a little fidgety though, mostly when any kid mentioned anything about nighttime and darkness and the moon. You'd seen him a couple times when the lights were off, and you could see why he wanted them on all the time and why he was always so serious about it.
You looked up at the large speakers, hearing the music play loudly. You had thought it was nice the first time you heard it, but now you were a little bit sick of it. You took a big breath in and then exhaled, going into the nearest structure to you. You had brought in a small bag to collect anything little and fragile that you find in here so you didnt have to drag it around.
As you worked your way through, you looked in every little nook and cranny that you found, checking underneath pillows and things as well. Your eye caught a small shine. Your head jerked back from the sudden flash in your eyes, and you blinked a couple times. There was a necklace somehow strung around one of the corners of an area across the bridge. It was pretty high up, you didnt know how you would get up there any how it even got there.
You walked across the bridge and tried reaching for it. You couldnt get your hand anywhere close to it, even on your tippy toes. You had to climb up the structure a little bit. So you started to climb, your fingers gripping the mesh to get up to where it was. You got pretty high, reaching for the necklace. You felt it loop around your finger and you pulled it down, putting it in the bag you brought. You started to feel your foot slipping a bit.
You gasped a little as you felt your foot slip down off of the edge of the brige, bringing your body with it. Your hand gripped onto the bridge, your heart pounding. You lifted your other hand up and hauled yourself onto the bridge. Your eyes were wide, you thought you were going to fall and break a bone. You sighed with relief, looking underneath the bridge to see if anything fell. You were all good.
You went back into the structure, your body still shaking from the panic you had felt when you fell. After a little while, you heard a loud yelp coming from the direction of Sun's platform and room. You jumped a bit from the sudden sound, hitting your head a little. You cursed quietly. "Sun?" You called. "Are you alright?" There was no reply.
