New year is today, but i'm still somehow laying in my bed and trying to sleep because it's still early in the morning.

I just couldn't sleep anymore, i guess that's how excited for today i am. I decided to text to our groupchat to see who is already up like me.

No one answered in the groupchat, but after a few minutes a recieved a message from someone.

I smiled at my phone, but then i got up and prepared myself. I was grateful that Sunghoon suggested this because i was honestly craving coffee.

It was 7 am and i was standing infront of my house, dialing his number but he didn't pick up. I looked up, seeing him already standing infront of his car, waving at me with smile.

I waved and smiled back and ran to him. His face was still a little puffed since it was early in the morning and i was the reason why he woke up this early today.

"let's go?" he asked
"sure! And since when you have car huh?" i asked him while i was getting in his car.
"my parents bought me one on my 19th birthday" he said and started the car.

After 5 minutes we arrived at the coffee shop, walked in and sat in the corner. No one was there, except the workers and two old people reading news paper and waiting for their drinks.

I ordered caramel latte, because that's always a safe option and Sunghoon chose expresso which is also a safe option.

"i've always wanted to try matcha, bit when Nara told me it tastes like a shit i didn't want to try it anymore" i laughed
"okay but how does Nara know how shit tastes like?" he laughed too
"hey it wasn't like for real you know?"

We talked a lot and also laughed. Sometimes we teased eachother, but it still felt comforting.

Sunghoon took a photo of our coffee and me in the background smiling and doing a peace sign. Of course he posted it on his stories and tagged me there, so now everyone knew that we are together, even Aeri who i assumed likes Sunghoon.

I just hoped that she'll tell me by herself soon and won't be mad at me for hanging out with probably her crush.

When i thought of Aeri i also remembered her brothers confession. The bad thing is, he is going to be there today as well. I totally forgot about him so i didn't even text him or call him when i was at home.

I haven't thought about our relationship, but i was sure i just want to be friends with him since i'm not looking for lover yet.

I decided to tell Sunghoon about him and his confession.
"Sunghoon-ah, what am i supposed to do when someone confessed to me, when i don't know if i like them or not" i asked him. He gave me a confused look but then he spoke.
"just give it a time. I think you will find out soon if you like him or not" he smiled. It kinda looked like he didn't mean it, but i ignored it.
"thanks, i will think about it, but what am i supposed to tell him?"
"tell him that you need some time and continue being friends with him until you'll be sure how to answer to his confession" he said and ruffled my hair.

"thank you Sunghoon, you don't know how much you helped me now" i smiled at him

Next chapter is going to be about the event hehe
And please don't mind the name of the groupchat i just thought about how niki would name it and this was the first thing that came up in my mind😭
