𝐭he bakusquad were hitting the streets once again, talking amongst themselves. katsuki, on the other hand, was busy scrolling through his phone.

"hm?" he glanced up, noticing (y/n) across the street, this time laughing with a girl. he glared at his friends before breaking off, heading across the street.

"(y/n)!" the lad called. the said girl turned, waving. "heya katsuki! how are you?" she smiled softly.

"being forced to check out the town with 4 idiots i call... my friends." he rolled his eyes. "what about you?" the female shrugged. "just wandering."

kirishima suddenly wrapped his arm around bakugo. "yo! who ya' talkin' to, man?" he flashed him a toothy grin.

"nobody you should be worried about, shitty hair." the blonde argued. the redhead laughed. "....was that a joke, or?"

"god, you're so annoying. what do you fucking think, huh?" katsuki glared at him. eijiro hesitated. "well, uh... there's nobody there, man." he smiled hesitantly.

the angry boy froze, processing. "...what do you mean, 'there's nobody there'?" the spiky-toothed male raised a brow. "i mean what i said. there's quite literally nobody there. do you need to sit down, man?"

bakugo glanced at (y/n), noticing she looked a bit shocked as her eyes widened. "...who are you?" he mumbled, staring at her.

the colleen sighed, taking off her hat. "i am (y/n)." she stepped out into the sun. her skin began glistening as it became more and more transparent. "...and i am untouchable."

the girl laughed. "shortly put, i'm a ghost. i don't exist in the real world." she hummed, soaking in the sun. "you've always seen me in this hat for a reason, haven't you?"

katsuki's eyes widened in shock. "...no. what- you... i'm the only one that can...?" he trailed off, watching as the lass nodded.

"i died about 2 years ago. i was one of shigaraki's experiments and i was turned into a nomu." (y/n) sighed. "i don't really remember much about my quirk, but i do know sir nighteye was my father. how is he, by the way? surely, you've seen him?"

the blonde jolted. 'she has no idea, does she? ...i don't wanna deal with all this stuff coming to her so fast.' the male looked at her with a tiny smile. "he's doing fine. he's doing some undercover hero work from what i remember."

the colleen gasped. "oh, good! i'm glad he's at least recovered from my death. i was worried he would be living in misery for a while..." she frowned a bit before glancing up at the sun. "ah, it seems my time has come."

bakugo furrowed his brows. "what? what do you mean? where are you going?" the female glanced at him. "i have limited time being visible to you."

"maybe i'll see you in another life, if i'm lucky." she smiled, holding up her now crossed fingers. "well, goodbye, katsuki bakugo."

the lad stood there in silence as she faded away. he gasped when her hat began to blow away in the wind. he quickly grabbed it, staring at it.

katsuki took out his phone, calling kirishima. "i don't feel good. i'm going home." he swiftly hung up before his redheaded friend could respond and broke out into a run back towards his house.
