Today is the day I turn 26, a day of dread for me but a good day for my parents and their business. The day is the 23 of January 2035, the day I woke up with my soulmate tattoo. It is also the day I meet the owner of the biggest fashion company in the world, August Dale who is also the man I have been engaged to my whole life. I thought my life would be different but as I walk the entrance to this man's building I realize I'm a slave to destiny and expectation. I look at my wrist and see what my tattoo says and read it aloud," it's okay, your taste in music has saved your first impression" It confuses me but I shrug and go to my phone to play my favorite song, Barracuda by Heart. as I get close to the elevators I run into someone full force dropping my phone and unplugging my earbuds and when that happens my song plays out loud and I blush."Shit, I'm so sorry, I hope I didn't ruin your suit!"
"it's okay, your taste in music has saved your first impression," the man stated in a slight chuckle. My eyes widen at the statement causing me to look up. Looking back at me is a 6'4" man with ginger hair and green eyes. he holds out his hand to help me up and chuckles again as I take it," I don't think I have introduced myself, I'm August, and you are?"
"o-oh, im so sorry I'm Hope. I'm not usually this clumsy or forgetful I promise you," i barely manage to state without stuttering. I'm almost sure I'm red as the apple that poisoned snow white. He chuckled at my flustered statement while visually mulling over what to say next. It felt like an eternity before either of us spoke. He broke the crushing weight of akward silence that fell over us not three minites ago," So, it looks as though you are not only my bride to be, but also, my soulmate." I looked worredly at his wrist to find the first words ever to come out of my mouth to this ruggedly handsome, sharply dressed, and surprisingly calm man in front of me. He laughed as he heard me groan out in embarrassment," why did it have to be such a clumsy sentence like that! Leave it to me to not have a smooth bone in my body!"
