Down the hall second door to the left ... I tiptoed down to his office door when I got there I froze. He was on the phone and he was mad no he was furious He was yelling at whoever was on the other end of that call.. I started to second guess myself When he stopped talking and the door suddenly opened I flinched back and looked away. I turned and looked back at him the only emotion in his eyes was fear. " Carley I'm so sorry I....I didn't mean to scare you, you should've just come in." I stepped toward him " You didn't scare me .. it's a reflex I guess " With a growl he reached out and pulled me against him silencing me with a kiss.
I leaned into him and deepened the kiss wrapping my arms around his neck and letting him take control. When we finally broke apart he asked breathlessly " Carley are you sure about this ...you said you wanted to take things slow , if we don't stop now we aren't going to be able to." I just looked up into his eyes and nodded " I'm sure .. I'm ready the bond is just getting stronger and stronger, there is no denying we are mates.
Brax crashed his lips back down to mine and lifted me off the floor.

Seeing the fear in her eyes when I opened the door made my heart sink. The only thing I could think to do was kiss her and try to make it all go away and apparently I had done just that, when we had finally broken apart and she said she was ready I couldn't hold back anymore I took her mouth again and pulled her into my arms and started heading towards the stairs.
In my mind I knew this was right any human looking at us would think we were insane but as mates we were made for each other our DNA pulled us to the other. My mother had said mates are half of the same soul and when you find each other it makes you both one ... feeling what I'm feeling I could belive that.
Hopefully Caleb isn't to mad about the extra patrols I assigned him to really its Taylor that I hopped wasn't mad at me ... who am I kidding Taylor was gonna be pissed. Oh well don't care right now
